Leaning TWINKIES tonight...BUT live play only as I *MUST* first see how Mauricio plays subbing in for LINDOR at SS and of course their new starter on the mound (Scott) from Syracuse following Tommy John procedure and missing a full year.
TWINS aren't awesome at the plate, but they do have the 8th best rpg while the METS rank dead last in the league.
Yes, missing Soto hurt, and YES they do have him back now (although they just lost LINDOR!), so I will upgrade my METS projections going forward by about an extra .05 runs per game than current ranking.....but that still leaves them about a full run short of the TWINKIES (at the plate).... As for the mound I give the TWINS a razor thin edge in the BP (or could be even) but a DEFINITE edge among starters: as we have a known and VERY GOOD quality SP in RYAN vs. a young guy with potential, yes, but following TJ surgery there are question marks at the MLB level that will require a few outings for a proper evaluation.... TWINS *should* be favored here...Probability would seem to support a better chance of a win than Mets... Of course anything can happen in baseball. Although RYAN is having a very good start this year following an excellent year last season, who knows, maybe he has a bad outing....If not, then Twins likely win.
But I *MUST* see the how 2 lineup changes play for the METS before considering to grab the TWINS on what may become a solid "value bet" .....maybe.....
....and sure enough it does appear that RYAN is off to very BAD outing tonight....
Happens to every pitcher sooner or later. Had no idea it would come against the *WORST* offense in baseball...
So they are down 1 - 6 to the worst offense in baseball and that alone tells me there is no coming back from this deficit and the fortunate Mets will steal a win tonight as they enter a home series vs the ROCKIES
RYAN has completely imploded tonight....shocking against a BAD team, but ....
So he allowed 9 men on base and 4 ER in only 3.1 ip 
HORRIBLE pitching.
He'll bounce back though, because he has been a consistently GOOD starter for years.
