Hopefully, they can hold out until 5:30-6pm.  the rain is supposed to let up for 2-3 hours at that point

Depends on field conditions and how meaningful the game is.

 

With the game being a blow out and the A's not playing for much, I'd say they would wait 2 hours max.

One more thing, they would like to get the 2nd game in if possible.  So there is supposed to be a let up in rain around 5 and continue to about 9 or 10pm.  They might run these guys out there around 5-6 and see if they can finish up quickly so they can sneak in the 2nd game.

i am 12 miles away from miami downtown and we got sunshine!!

and in boston is heavy rain for 3 hours....no  they back up this game!!!
