Strickland

Two men face each other tomorrow tonight for a highly anticipated fight that I myself have been waiting for! Strickland is one of my all time favorite fighters in The UFC and with his slow, standing fight style against Chimaev who will likely want to take this fight to the ground, this fight is going to be interesting to watch. Chimaev is a large favorite to win this one. Chimaev is currently sitting at -590 to win this straight up, while Sean is +480. It's very possible Sean connects to the chin of Khamzat. Sean admittedly has a vulnerability and that is his chin. We've all witnessed the fight where Sean was knocked senseless by Alex Pereira where after the match, he mentioned it. I'm looking forward to this one and although he is favored to lose by the books, the public, etc...

I agree with this.  I'd love to see it, but I don't know how Strickland can keep it standing.  He did look awesome vs Anthony Hernandez, but Khamzat is whole different animal.  But if Strickland can make him work hard for takedowns, and possibly tire him out....we know Sean has crazy cardio, so if Khamzat tires, Strickland could have an advantage if the fight goes into rounds 4 & 5

My thought exactly. I like Strickland for the upset. I watch ufc religiously and understand Khamzat is a beast....but his tank is great and one thing Sean is good at is blocking take downs ,throwing jabs and knees. He can pull this off in the 4th or 5th

All week I was thinking that there was no way that Strickland had a chance .Then I heard what Chael sonnen had to say. He basically came up with the idea that this fight may have been a Manufactured hate for each other. These guys use to train together and there was never a problem with each other. The Boys had one job and that was to sell this fight and they both did a great job! They will be both paid very well also. My question is this,if Strickland knocks out chimaev under 2 rounds and regains the title is there a chance for a rematch on the lawn for the white house?Barring both fighters don't take much damage.I  like Strickland with the early knockout ..$$$

Strickland just doesn’t KO a lot of people , you see his reaction when he knocked out fluffy lol, granted I think that gave him some confidence. I’m still playing Strickland small I think his awkward front kicks and td defense has a chance to keep this standing and if he able to keep it on the feet for 3 of the 5 rounds he’ll win
