Liddell vs Evans at UFC 88

Chuck Liddell                 -255
Rashad Evans               +235
 
I already put $50 on Rashad last week and got him at +211 unfortunately and im probably going to put more on him but im going to wait and see what the line does.  
 
 I really do like Rashad Evans chances here especially at those odds. We all know that Chuck was and definitely still is one of the most popular fighters in MMA.  He was the face of the UFC for a long time so the odds will reflect that.  The public will bet on him mainly because not a lot of people even know who Evans is surprisingly even though he was on a TUF show.   I think Chuck is overated and he is well out of his prime... 
 
Anyways, stricly on value im going with Evans. I like those odds.

I think Rashad is no where near Chuck's level. Its like Sean Sherk / BJ Benn or Matt Serra / GSP or Anderson Silva / anyone. If this fight was before Chuck lost to Rampage, I'd load up large on Chuck at this price. My only question is on where Chuck's head will be at. Is he still fully motivated to be a top level fighter? Will we train as hard as he possibly could? As long as chuck comes to fight, in great shape, fully prepared, then Rashad has about the same chance as Serra had against GSP.

Fair enough, i still like the value on Evans.  I would never bet on the old man Iceman cause he is just too heavily favored. I try to look for the good underdogs.

Exactly, where will Chucks head be? Knowing him, he will go out drinking heavy before he fights the next day  lol.

Rashad has NEVER impressed me. He never looks great or bad. Just an average fighter in my opinion. Chuck should easily handle him although I think its going to be a boring fight.

I would just stay with the money that you have on it for now...I see what you are saying about value here but come on Evans is going to get blasted.

I'm a fan of Rashad Evans, but I just don't see anyway he beats Liddell.  Evans is way too tentative, Liddell should win easily.

moneyshot im with you, rashad to young and athletic for chuck, as much as the ufc would like to see chuck win it wont happen... chucks hamstring injury will prove to be too much for him to overcome

Out of 3 fights i dont think he would consistently win 2 out of 3 therefore that is why i like evans at these odds.
