Looking to go to vegas for the duration of march madness.
looking for a nice place to stay? Rooms? house? Rent? Internet Tv? details please.

I am staying at the Orleans. Great hotel and casino and a great set up for March Madness. Have stayed there 4 of the last 5 years and will be back again this year from March 18-23.

My main goal is basketball, poker, and good food at a good price. If you are looking for clubs and nightlife, go somewhere on the strip.

Any information on  the Flamingo Casino and sports book? 

Flamingo sportsbook is pretty small. I am not sure if they open up a bigger room. For March Madness you need to go somewhere big that doesn't,t cost anything. That is why I love the Orleans. They open up the Grand Ballroom with betting stations, plenty of TV's, and food and drink specials.

The LVH has a great set up with the theater, I prefer Green Valley Ranch as that is where I frequent.

I did 'hoops at Harrah's' last year.  It was around $100 and included a terrible buffet and miller lite draft.  Not worth it in my opinion.  Caesars costs even more.

agree if u paid 4 it   My host got us in 4 free on thur. at Harrah's and fri at Caesar's    Was free miller,coors, and corona and wings, pizza, tacos and fruit

All would depend on your budget, they are all great on the strip!

Lines are usually long when you get close to tip offs. I stay at the Orleans and usually make my Thursday early game bet the night before or go around 7:30. After that just get wagers in between games. 2nd half lines always result in longer lines. I have never been shut out of a bet at the Orleans or the Quad.

First time for March Madness in Vegas....SO would you advise to bet the Thur games early like say wed night to avoid long lines ? Little worry I'll get cut short of some games with the congestion

just get where you are going at least an hour before the opening tip off. Thursday and Friday are way more crowded than Saturday and Sunday opening weekend
