Thinking of laying off for a while in the NHL Playoffs

Last year the winner for the nhl playoffs was like less than 16,000 considering where I am in units and the number of games left, I'm thinking of just not putting any wagers in for a while and hopeing no one runs away with it. What you guys think of my plan??
