I think it is funny how in football LT is a coke head, wife beater, and used to frequent the escort girls and none of that came up in his bid for the hall. I understand the hall of fame standards for 2 sports may be different but, that is a little extreme.

rorman13.........Football HOF and Baseball HOF have different standards. Very different. I think on numbers alone, Rose is a first ballot HOF'er, no brainer. However the rule states that any player banned from baseball is not eligible for the HOF. Rose is banned. He was going to be reinstated in one year, but Commisioner Bart G. died shortly after the agreement. What baseball is not recognizing is that gambling is a sickness, as in drinking and drugs. They provide help for that though. Make little or no sense. Rose thought he would be reinstated in one year. Now he's fucked. Good day bud.
