Solar modules maker First Solar Inc. said Friday its board approved construction of a $150 million manufacturing plant in Malaysia.

The plant, to be built next to two First Solar plants currently under construction, is scheduled to start production in the first half of 2009.

The Malaysian plant will have a capacity of 120 megawatts, the company said

now do u consider fslr a buy after this news or do u think they will have to raise cash for this? let me know thanks

Yeah I saw that..I think they will use some proceeds from their secondary done to cover those costs and use some credit lines and cash.That news is actually kinda old, but it made the stock move.

There is a HUGE short position in FSLR.   The market manipulators with oodles of ammo called cash can scare the shorts ANYTIME news, old or new, comes out.&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;FSLR may not be any good years from now, but goddamn right now it is a short-seller&#x27;s worst nightmare.&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;This is in play on every dip.  The manipulators want this one higher, and they can succeed by easily terrifying the shorts.&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;Think about it.
