Vector Group

Question

anyone have an opinion on Vector Group?  smaller tobacco company that pays a sweet dividend!  charles icahn just recently took a position in them too... or at least i think he did.  the only thing is that it is trading near its 52-week high.  should i wait a bit for it to fall some before i buy in, or should i jump in now?  thanks guys.

koaj, i completely understand the fact that MO has a lower P/E ratio and is cheaper.  my point is, i dont even have enough cash to buy 100 shares of MO right now, but i could buy 200-300 shares of VGR.  i usually like to buys stocks in lots of at least 100, especially when factoring in commission.  not sure if i am wrong for thinking like this, but that&#x27;s kind of how i&#x27;ve always bought and sold stocks.

ogmikeit only matters if you are on the floor of the NYSE and trying to work an order for a clientif you are sitting home clicking submit on ameritrade, it doesnt matter at all

I own CG but either way, you can&#x27;t go wrong with having a Tobacco stock IMO.
