13/1 on the board. pattern, pace, speed. another swing for the fences here and a lot of projecting on my part. came off the pine and won very easily going 10.5F in May. been away since mid-June and as a 3YO i am projecting a lot of growing up since then and potential improvement. never been this far so he obviously needs to prove that. two back smoked a very prestigious G1 though only a mile. could love the firm turf. taking a shot here. 1.0 units.

15/1 on the board. pattern, recency, late speed. projecting again here this lightly raced 4YO needs to pop a new lifetime high but he's never been on dirt sprinting and never seen a pace setup like the one he is about to see. came off the pine in a full field, tough G3 and had trouble a couple times and closed to miss by a length or so. 2nd off the bench here after two solid drills on natural dirt in louisville very bold placement into this ballbustah race. i'll try him against the way the surface has played up until the last two dirt races. 1.0 units.

$2 costs $72. small play. as you can see tossed every chalk. a major swing for the fences ticket.
brutal way to get bumped out fellas with a major long bomb ticket. i had the 12 and 3 that finished 2nd and 3rd at juicy prices. man, just missed twice today both of my seconds were major ballbreakers.

27/1 on the board. late speed, pattern, distance, stamina, pace. best opportunity of the weekend in my view but probably the most difficult assignment as well. WD can run but so can a few others and if this euro doesn't mind running every two weeks he could be quite a toughie here. this guy comes off a long break with a long sequence of solid drills and cuts way back in distance by 4F. the running lines make it look like he's part of the pace but i expect him to sit behind the early pace. i am projecting that cutting back he could be full of a ton of run in that final quarter. rapidly improving pattern jumping on the turf, loves arcadia, and why on earth come back here of all places. i'll take a swing for the fences. 1.25 units.

Wise Dan takes it. wow, Za Approval ran huge i briefly considered him.
one more. ROI very solid for the weekend but i expected a lot more from that one.

Atlass just in from tailgating , 2 questions did you post the 12 th and is the last turn the decider today ?
feel the track profile has changed a little bit. looked more reasonable in the sprint and juvey though note some of the early "pace" horses still hung around.

14/1 on the board. distance, stamina, pattern. lots of early sizzle in this race for a 10F spin i'm looking for a rebound from this old antique and looking for him to keep plugging away and grinding it out. i don't bet jocks but i have to admit i like rosario getting here. if the sizzle holds this guy is no better than 3rd or 4th or maybe worse. if they beat each other up on the lead and this old timer fires i feel he could keep fighting all the way to the wire. like Mott in this spot as well he has gotten this guy to rebound sharply off of dull efforts. 1.0 units.

looked like he was gonna make a move and then at the furlong pole he got real soft.
damn the other two i liked ran 2nd and 3rd. i did not like mucho macho man at all really. oh well. i was so close to going with the 10 but it still would have only been another second place finish.
