It just seemed weird how they shoved Jericho directly into the Lesnar/Reigns stuff, didn't it? I feel like they were treating Jericho as a "big deal" you know? Subtle but something they would be thinking of. You know Vince trusts him, knows he can deliver on the big stage, already walked out on Reigns/Ambrose in a tag match in a PPV a while back... is it that out of line that he aligns himself with the Authority? I feel like the Steph thing from last week with him is classic misdirection for the viewer. Is there a 2% chance that Vince goes with an audible and does a Jericho wins the Rumble, HHH/Reigns at WM, Jericho maybe loses title at Fast Lane to Lesnar, then its Rock/Brock for the title in Dallas to break the record? Think about it, Vince NEEDS a huge massive headlining match. What match could WWE put together that gets it the absolute most attention going into Dallas? It's Rock/Brock hands down in my mind.

Well, Jericho did return by interrupting New Day. I can't see a scenario in which he actually wins, though. He was only thrown into the Lesnar/Reigns thing because it gives more credibility than having Miz have them on his show. Who wants to see that? And as for the Jericho thing dropping the title at Fast Lane...he'd be entitled for a rematch (although, Rock has a rematch for the title in his back pocket).
As for Rock...I don't think there is such thing as a "heel" Rock anymore. The most heel he can go is against Cena where the kids root for Cena. I don't think Rock even has it in him to be a heel in the form of going against the fans because that's the only way he could portray a heel. I think it would make more sense for Rock to be face and Reigns be heel. Then people would be more inclined to side with Reigns because they rather see him as a heel. But even if that storyline were to come to fruition...then it would still be Reigns eliminating Rock.
That would be cool with the #1 and #2 scenarios but I think a more likely one, if they were to go down that route, would be Triple H's music hits, Reigns rushes him up the stage, they fight throughout the arena and it leaves the crowd wondering throughout the entire match when they will come back. Kinda like Stone Cold in 1999 when he got beat down in the bathroom and taken away in an ambulance and then drove the ambulance back, get another build up, just to get eliminated by Vince (who commentated most of the match) in the end. I've noticed a lot of similarities between 1999 and this year with Vince going after the "star" and doing whatever it takes to not have him win.
