Common for policing of large crowd traffics even in countries with low gun ownership and strong gun control. But worldwide movement toward gun control is aimed at general population of gun owners. Not police and military personnel who are more authorized to be armed. The March For Lives has always been about gun violence in schools & now that larger cities have joined the movement, it's about gun violence in the streets as well.
It's about gun violence within families & almost everyone knows someone who knows about someone else that was a victim of gun violence.
All movements use celebrities to finance their causes because they have money that most don't have. Parkland happens to be a well educated town full of professionals who have money & influence that many inner city kids never get access to.
However, when it comes to losing someone you love the feeling is the same whether you live in the burbs or the city. It hurts real bad.

The march permit application was filed by Deena Katz, co executive director for the womens march Los Angeles fund. The application lists her as the person "in charge of the event.

This user fee can offset costs to secure our future , our most precious resources our children attending learning institutions protected by a national guard. Whether cops national guard soldiers or honorablely discharged veterans. We can pay to have our young guarded in the nations soft targets.( School malls sporting events concerts etc.

End of the day handguns do all of the killing universe proportions over Ar's but at least give the folks some comfoert about their children that have been shot. As nature says, carefully moniter ammo sales. Magazine capacity in handgun is wicked nasty.
None of it will pass legislation but fill out a form if you're buying a lot of rounds. Times have changed.
Takes a gun guy to wave a white flag and do it for the kids.
by the way, ATF should be on the HOOK for bump stock legalization. Ive said 1000000x.

So nature, what you're saying is non registered ammuntion buyers register with ATF? I like that, they pay a lot more.

Sandy Hook was the worst shooting in the history of our country imo. Chills down my spine that the NRA won't bend. They will never break but after Vegas and Florida they won't bend at all. Makes me sad. THEN Vegas some jerkoff has an auto fire recoil stock that rips apart dozens of people. The very CLASS 3 weapon that they banned. Then they say the it's legal because the firing pin isn't actuated by the hammer and upper receiver. Are you kidding me????

100% correct. The real problem is getting rid of the stigma attached to these issues...Its an epidemic with kids, and growing in adults as well. I don't agree with Tilt on a lot but I agree with this 100%. We can talk gun control until we're blue in the face but until we address mental health, and destigmatize mental health disorders, these things will continue you to happen. I'm a gun enthusiast who believes we need gun law reform. More than that though, we need to take a good look at our own mental stability, or lack there of.
