The closest calls for me, or matches I could really see going either way, are Cena/Miz and Orton/Punk. Everyone else I feel is a pretty solid play to win it.
I think we can safely say that ADR, Taker, and Lawler are as close to sure things as we are going to get. Does the WWE let ADR win the Royal Rumble and main event Wrestlemania if he isn't slated to win the title?

Can't you see Rey's match ending with Rey ripping off Cody's mask and hitting the 619? Isn't that how the feud has to end? Then maybe after Rhodes takes it out on Rey and rips Rey's mask off or attempts to. I don't think Rhodes wins this one.

I think Nexus storyline may be over. I think Punk could win and solidify his claim that he doesn't need the Nexus. What good will come out of Orton winning? It will just make Punk look weak. Orton is already banged up ("Knee Injury"), which means he has an excuse to lose. Orton really isn't the come from behind type.

Another side note. WWE has always wanted Cena to be the Super Hero type like Hogan. Hogan lost once at Mania to Warrior. Cena has lost only one championship match at Mania. Not quite sure it is time for number 2.

BTW last year the heel divas won the match. Does Snookie getting beat have any value? I think it could.
But do you think Snookie would be involved in any of this if she were to lose? She's already slapped about 5 people and knocked another down. She's batting 1.000.

Great prediction. Cena could easily win this by DQ and we would win the bet correct?
Yea. It's possible. But something else to think about is The Rock could come in and kick Miz's ass first, Cena wins via DQ, Miz gets out of there, Cena is pissed and starts a fued between the 2.

There's no reason for him to go after The Miz right now after he just got embarrassed by Cena.

If it was the Rock beating down Miz, and that led to the DQ, Miz would actually be declared the winner.

First of all betting on something that is already pre-arranged is a joke.. Betting on spread that is -1500 on something that is fixed is a suicide
Imagine what the Ultimate Warrior vs. Hulk Hogan Line would have been in Wrestlemania Six...
This is a complete embarrassment to sports "investing"....
Why would we not bet something that is entertaining to watch and could be profitable? Doesn't it make more sense to bet something predetermined than not?

So betting on sports without knowing the outcome is the way to go because there's a chance you'll lose?
What's wrong with betting on something you know the outcome of? Is that morally wrong to win when betting on a fixed event when everyone KNOWS it's fixed?
I don't expect a reply. I haven't gotten one yet on why it's wrong to bet on something you KNOW the outcome of.

Thoughts guys? Enough positive juice to make a play on Punk?
Nah. I think it's one of those situations that go with the storyline. You saw Orton not be able to get the punt down, so they want everyone to think that he has no chance. How many times do people with serious injuries go into a match and win? Quite often. Like a cast on the hand and stuff like that. I think the line moved up for the best.
Maybe this is a way of telling us that Punk will lose, Nexus will come back Monday Night and find a new leader. Maybe a step back for Punk.
Just some more speculation.

Yeah, line moves like that make me kind of nervous. Then again, last year the line moved against Taker significantly from opening and he won. It's a crapshoot.
I actually disagree with you that you can KNOW what the outcomes are (unless you work there hypothetically). You can, at best, make a prediction about what the booking team will do. Sometimes, if you've paid attention over the years, you can anticipate what the logical "next step" would be. Writers get into a pattern long-term often too. The tough part is not gauging the actual winner, in my opinion, but rather measuring the likelihood of the booking committee going "A" vs. "B" and the respective values being offered on the plays. To me the Punk/Orton match is a complete toss-up. Orton got the best of Punk to set it up to a 1 on 1 match, no Nexus interference. If Orton is going to go over, don't you LET Nexus interfere, let Orton fight them off, overcome great odds, blah blah blah and pin Punk to finish the feud? That makes Orton look stronger (and if you are letting him go over, isn't that the point?). But the 1 on 1 set up now seems to me like perfect justification for either a straight up Punk victory or interference from someone to help Punk win. That's how the story would be told at least 40% of the time probably in my mind by this booking committee.

You have that scenario where HBK was retiring after Wrestlemania...which was known. So we knew he was going to lose.
A potential storyline was to turn Morrison heel and team him back up with Mercury...so Morrison/R-Truth lost to ShoMiz last year.
Mysterio joining the SES simply wasn't likely from what I read last year...and he won.
That's how I see it. It's pretty much what we know will happen.
And as for Orton...all these ups and downs are why I probably won't make a play on it because there are too many question marks. If there is a play that I can't figure out the outcome of...I won't make it. I'm in this to go undefeated...not to take the best guess and go with it. Come Sunday...I'll figure out which matches have the winner just about leaked, and parlay them around in different ways.

I think Punk wins so there is justification that Orton can lose because he was "injured" not making him look bad losing, but also putting Punk over. Does that make sense at all?

Yep. Then Orton can be a man scorned, which is a good look for him.
