Do you guys really watch this stuff FOR REAL?
I do.
I'm trying to tell you man. Why hope for "value" when, for the most part, we'll know whose going to win by Saturday night? Didn't Sheamus really hurt you last year because there was value in the line?
I know you can go out on the limb...but I rather get the sure thing.

Same thing with watching movies as they're both forms of entertainment. Should people stop watching movies as well?

Miz/Bryan. I know all the reasonings SOUND good (hell, I can convince myself of everything said in this thread) but the rumor sites were dead on last year. I understand that Miz/Bryan lines will go down...but if they lose...the value is worthless.
Seeing that you can't parlay (hopefully they change that), I just plan on going with the low lines, which won't change too much. I expect Punk, ADR and Rhodes to win...but I'll wait until I hear more. And I'll keep this thread posted.

I see either a punt to Punk to end the fued for now...or some new Nexus member coming in to mess up Orton and put Orton out of commission for a bit.
But, as I said, I'll wait it out. And I agree...parlays make it well worth it. But for those who KNOW the outcome, they can just mix and match parlays left and right for easy wins.

That's why they have the draft. Mix up storylines.
As for a storyline...someone bumped the other thread saying that he was friends with someone backstage and he said that Christian would screw Edge and Del Rio would win the title. I can see it happening. Not saying he's not BSing...but not saying he's wrong either. We'll have to see.

His Plans For After Wrestlemania: "It’s all up in the air. It depends on what makes sense to the audience. You always think audience first. Much like this return to wrestling, I’m always looking forward to do big and better. [Laughs]...After Wrestlemania, you’ll see what I’m talking about… Coming back into the business, I wanted to partner up with [WWE chairman and CEO] Vince [McMahon] and create something special that’s never been done that’s big on a global scale. And hosting Wrestlemania answered that. In addition to that, it’s not only hosting. It’s evolved into me whopping somebody’s ass. I’m looking to do something big and special with Vinceafter Wrestlemania."

“The goal was to come back in a big, powerful way,” he said. “My return has been years of strategizing with Vince McMahon.”
He delivered all his greatest hits in his return, a 20-minute live promo that had the crowd hanging on every word and chanting “Rocky!” as he announced, “Finally, The Rock has come back home!”
“That night was the greatest ‘RAW’ moment I had ever experienced,” said Johnson, who debuted in 1996.
“I’ve never said never. I’m open to it,” he said. “For years when I was asked that, I kept my emotions very close to my sleeve. I would say, ‘No, I don’t see myself wrestling a match,’ because I didn’t want to leave that open too much. I wanted to make sure I was concentrating solely on my goals in acting.”
He believes he can handle the acting-wrestling tag-team combo from here on out and dropped enough hints that he’ll be landing “The People’s Elbow” well beyond Wrestlemania.
“It’s ‘The People’s Era’ that’s getting ready to happen,” he said. “It’s just beginning.”
"When asked about when we'll see him get a shot at The Rock, Cena said, "I have been willing to do anything for that match. I will do anything for that match. If I have to talk more trash about The Rock, I’m your guy."
Cena also praised the impact The Rock's recent return has had on the company.
"I can’t tell you how much it plugs our product back in,” he said. “It’s like getting hooked up to defibrillators. It’s the one little jump-start we needed."

So it's only good to gamble if you DON'T know how the game will turn out?
You just said it's fixed. So it's wrong to bet on the side that's going to win?
Note...I didn't lose last year because I knew who was going to win. ![]()

I don't believe Cena will ever turn heel. Why would he? The 14 year olds love him, and those kids are the ones that walk around with the shirts and wristbands. The guy's a cash cow. Think about it - if they turn him heel, who's the biggest face on RAW? Orton? That ain't cuttin' it.
Another scenario I could see is the Rock helping Cena win the match, and then giving a happy Cena a Rock-bottom, to set up a one-time match between the two.
That way, the WWE gets what they want: An already extremely popular Rock (with adults/older fans) vs. Cena (who they don't have to turn heel) for the Championship at Summerslam.

That sounds more like an Austin type of thing. I think The Rock is neutral and would just kick anyone's ass without siding with either.
