Any 'civilization' that has the technology to travel long distance in space would only need to visit earth once to learn everything they need to know.
At the speed of light it still takes 100,000 years to get across just the milky way..They would have to be advanced enough to somehow bend space.
We would be like ants to them. No real reason to even stop by, let alone visit hundreds or thousands of times.

A planet the size of earth is like a particle of dust. It would take millions of years to visit each earth like planet.
If they're able to do that they've got other ways of finding resources.
We're talking about a civilization that has basically mastered worm hole type travel..Are they going to stop by and suck up all our oxygen or water? What other resources do we have that they could want?
