One of the top 5 shows of all time. I was introduced to this show through these marathons. I'm glad I watched.
From script-writing, production, to casing, it was second to none.
It is a brilliant show.
Talking Tina, btw, is an all-time classic.
Other great episodes:
A Game of Pool
To Serve Man
Third from the Sun
Time Enough at Last
The Monsters are Due on Maple Street
Nightmare at 20,000 Feet
Eye of the Beholder (truly, a masterpiece)
Too many to name. I could go on and on.

Terror at 20,000 ft with little Billy Shatner (Cpt. Kirk) made it into the movie version. Classic.
Also had Robert Redford before he became a movie star. He played a cop that was shot, and let into her apartment by Agnes Moorehead (Mother on Bewitched)..............
Lee Marvin was in a great one, too!

This is a very interesting article on Serling's life.
https://uudb.org/aerticles/rodserling.html
This is a part of it:
After graduation Serling enlisted in the United States Army. Beginning in May 1944 he served with the 511th Parachute Infantry Regiment of the 11th Airborne Division in New Guinea and during the invasion of the Philippines. He was awarded the Purple Heart for a severe shrapnel wound to his knee. The war also took a permanent mental toll; he would suffer from flashbacks, nightmares, and insomnia for the rest of his life. When discharged from the army in 1946 he was "bitter about everything and at loose ends."

I remember Outer Limits. I used to love shows like Outer Limits, Twilight Zone, Tales from the Darkside, Tales from the Crypt, and Alfred Hitchcock Presents.
I love movies with a surprising twist. With these tv shows you only have to wait 30 minutes instead of 90 minutes.

"There is nothing wrong with your television set. Do not attempt to adjust the picture. We are controlling transmission. If we wish to make it louder, we will bring up the volume. If we wish to make it softer, we will tune it to a whisper. We can reduce the focus to a soft blur, or sharpen it to crystal clarity. We will control the horizontal. We will control the vertical. For the next hour, sit quietly and we will control all that you see and hear. You are about to experience the awe and mystery which reaches from the inner mind to... The Outer Limits."

I'm only 32 and I really like this show. I only seen a handful of episodes but I really like them.
What are some of everyone's favorites so I can look them up on Netflix and watch them?
Scal gave you a list of essentials. Those are all-time classics that should be watched. One of my favorite shows. I used to live for the holiday marathons. Then I got the box set. Then came netflix. And you know what? There's still nothing better than catching all of your favorites while watching the marathons. Slobs, i've disagreed with you some. Scal, i've disagreed with you a bunch but here on the eve of our great nations birthday I hope we can all appreciate the simple pleasures of life we are afforded as Americans. Whether it's a BBQ with family and friends, a fishing trip, watching the game, or watching an American classic like the Zone, this is the greatest nation on earth. Hopefully even Scal can agree with that.
