Just saw Tool a week ago in Rosemont. Kinda sucked. Surprised me.
The best concert I've ever seen is the flaming lips. I find their albums to be un-listen-able. But their show had my arm hairs standing on end. It was seriously unreal.
Metallica never fails to put on a good show, same with ozzy.

Velvet Revolver 2004 - (Phoenix) Celebrity Theater (small venue). After being on the shelf as Guns & Roses (Slash, Duff & drummer) join Scott Weiland and put on an amazing show.
Heaven & Hell 2009 (Phoenix). Ronnie James Dio only performed 5 more shows after this due to being diagnosed with stomach cancer. Glad I caught this act, sadly - tomorrow is guaranteed for no one...
Back in 1980 me and a buddy went to Black & Blue (Black Sabbath & Blue Oyster Cult at the Capital Center). A band played and then BOC played, we thought they headlined so we left and missed Black Sabbath due to some great weed that definitely impaired our judgment... As we were leaving I remember us both commenting how light the traffic was...

thats about all recall from younger days havent been to any concerts laytely because aint nobody i want to see cause ones i liked are too fuggin old now.

Funny how your taste in music changes when you get older. Also probably b/c I moved out of the city.

Courntney love dated trent resnor from nine inch naisl briefly, after they broke up she said "they should have called the band three inch nails"
Another interesting fact about trent resnor, he wrote the song "hurt", johnny cash did a cover of the song, apparently he was so overwhelmed after hearing the cash version he broke down.
There was an old saying, that if you were a songwriter and wanted a hit just "give it to cash". Johnny cash would have been in my top five concerts but i was too young to take it all in.
