    PLLLLLLLLLFFFFFFFFFFFF!!!!!

And how did you do with your job career after your criminal conviction?

People flocking to hire you after your police record?  I'll bet.

Police have the power to RUIN LIVES over BS convictions.

Let me speak slowly... IT SHOULD NOT BE THAT WAY.

You and I can agree to disagree.

I'm sure Luke Bryan appreciates being lumped in with pedophiles, burglars, and "pill poppers" for things you should be against.....

But, this is what some people don't understand. You run from the cops, or resist arrest, you're going to get dealt with, regardless of anything else. Pepper spray, tazer, nightstick beating, chokehold, and yes, maybe even getting shot crosses all color barriers......

I don't like Police that go looking for trouble.  To me that includes stopping JayWalkers, stopping drivers because they did not signal a lane change. Stopping drivers without a front license plate.  That is all a bunch of BS.  Remember, Police are TRAINED to coerce you into giving up your Constitutional Rights during a traffic stop.  Actually you are not responsible to answer any of their questions.  "Where y'all headed to?  Where y'all coming from?" How about "NONE OF YOUR GOD DAMNED friggin BUSINESS?  Charge me with something and talk with my attorney or let me go on my lawful way.

Cops are like bees, they're a necessary part of the environment and everyone takes the "pretty flowers" and "honey" part of them for granted (read:upholding the law and keeping the streets safe). Just know that every once in a while, you're going to get stung - whether you deserved it or not. And running from them only creates a deadly "swarm"......

I raised three boys and told them all:

Do what the Pig asks of you, keep your hands at the 2 and 4 o'clock position on the wheel.  Never exit the vehicle unless asked to do so.  Don't go digging in the glove box without permission.

And never run from a Pig. Once the catch you.......and they will catch you....expect an behind-whopping at the very least.

How about "NONE OF YOUR GOD DAMNED friggin BUSINESS?  Charge me with something and talk with my attorney or let me go on my lawful way.
I haven't had any run-ins with cops in years, but a friend of mine did recently. We were meeting at a place around 6:30am on a Sunday to carpool to a distant golf course & he showed up late, which he never does. He tells us he just got pulled over on a back street for "failure to come to a complete stop @ a stop sign". There were no other cars in sight........except the cop that was about 50 yds behind him in an unmarked city rig. This is a 48yo guy driving a late model Silverado 4x4, not some kid buzzing around in a rice-burner with the music cranked. This friend is a very mellow guy but I guess he got a bit peeved when the cop started asking him where he's going so early on a Sunday, etc. He said, "it doesn't matter.....look, I don't want a ticket but if you're going to write me one would you please just do it & let go on my way?"

Surprisingly, the cop didn't write him up........but it fits the category of cop you're describing.

About fifteen years ago I got put in the can for an over nighter. My fault but I was in my front yard only wearing gym shorts. It was summer so they cuffed me and wanted my ID. Told them where it was so they could get my drivers license. The holding tank was so cold my toes were turning purple. Finally got out in the morning and got a cab home. Went inside to pay him and the $600 I had in my wallet was gone.

99.5% of the time if you obey the police, you won't have a problem, but the focus is always on the .5% of the time. That's fine, but I've had plenty of run-ins the police and they're not perfect and I had a bad experience or 2, but they have a tough job. Rule of the road is obey the cop, and do the fkn hokey pokey if commanded to and chances are you won't get shot.

I agree that I don't like police being overzealous. A couple years ago I had just completed a 14+ hour shift at the company I was working for at the time. On the way home I hit an In 'n Out drive-thru. I exit onto a main street (no one coming) and I go to the middle lane. I get stopped. He comes up to the car and asks me do you know why I stopped you? I said I have no idea. He says "because when you enter a road you have to stay in the right lane. Then he comments on me eating while driving. I told him I just worked a really long shift and I'm starving, I was a tad agitated for him being deputy dog with this lane violation claim. But he let me go. If I would've been a complete person to him, that could've went differently, but it's called self-control and common sense. I know many in society have no respect for authority and it's just not in them to bite their tongue and comply but you have to play the game at times to win. It's a losing proposition to argue with them, they have a gun and a lot of friends that'll chip in at a moments notice.

Shoot it out with the police huh Flutie? Did you suffer brain freeze up in the great white north this year? Cooperate and they have no reason to break bad. Jamal hasn't learned this yet but he's out there protesting. FYI the police aren't the problem in America, it's the animals that have no respect for anything that you have to be weary of.

My hometown (Baltimore) has experienced more murders than NYC this year. That's a remarkable feat considering its a city of 600,000 v. 8.4m. Also, the cops allegedly (probably falsely accused) might be responsible for 1. They're not the problem.

If murder rates are high, how well are the cops doing their jobs?

I've noticed our town changed from "Serve and Protect" to "In partnership with our community".  Whatever that is supposed to mean, I don't like it.  I liked "Serve and protect" better.  Don't give me this "partnership BS".

..and you want to move to Belize ?

U.S. State Department released an updated crime and safety report indicating that the country experienced a high level of criminal activity in 2014, including theft and murder.

wat a pile of horse-garbage.....more like "in partnership with our masters that give us directives to operate in the way they see fit".

people seem to forget that in the beginning the police force was installed to HELP and SERVE and PROTECT the common people BY the common people...have a look wat we've got now,in many cases aggressive, jumped up megolamaniacs roaming around tryna put you in your place.....a feckin army of dudes dressed in black carrying tasers, guns and sticks to beat you with "just in case".....and try and call one to help you after getting attacked or burgled and its "sorry, theyre all out collecting "revenue"(speeding tickets)"...like highway robbers, hehe.

i know the other side of the coin,of course theres crime that has and always will happen and measures need to be taken to combat it.....but theres a reason that crime exists the way it does.most people are too dumb to realise it but an aspect of society is set up and bred to be criminals by the situation they are put in and conditioned to by...guess who???..the same fukers that give you the police force to keep them in line....comical.its MEANT to be this way.its like that for a reason.

but thats an argument that can go on for a million years and folk still just dont get it.or dont wanna get it.

You can make statistics say whatever you want Slim.

The truth is, if you stay away from the jungle interior, the Coastal towns and Cayes of Belize are a heavily protected paradise.  It's like comparing Greenwich, CT vs Harlem, NY only 30 miles apart.

    Well-said there 'Killer.

Then we have I)diots like 'Detox that are surprised when the cops lay low and let the felons have at it.  Make sense 'Detox ? ???

St. Louis, Baltimore, Chicago, L.A., too..  Is it fair to say O'bozo is "inciting" this act of resistance to authority in recent years.

"Federal Investigations" of local authorities, or how about "that could have been my son as Michael Brown"....  this clown is an act of resistance to local authorities.

    And 1-1/2 more years....
