Absolutely not. Quick story.. my dad and I went to watch him at a Nelson a few years after we all graduated college. I really hadn't talked with him much since high school but, like I said, knew him a LONG time and actually my dad coached our soccer team when we were like 8.
Anyway, he walked up to a tee box and my dad and I were just standing there to his left waiting for him to tee off. I guess we caught his eye b/c he actually stepped down from the tee box and came over to shake our hand and talk for a few seconds before he teed off.
Down to earth...good guy. But I'm biased.

Trace Armstrong was my roomate, close friend and fraternity brother @ Arizona State. Good guy. Haven't talked to him in years. We definitely got into some trouble together.

I played a few seasons with jimmy rollins, pat burrell, and xavier nady. fun watching those fuckers on tv now. to bad the x man has been nicked up most of his career. He hit a dinger off me when we were 14. In high school he went like 1-28 against me.
Rollins was a year younger than me but played on my aau team for a few years. He was 15 and we played a junior college team in a scrimage double header. The guy went 8-8 with 8 jacks; all with a wooden bat. Knew he would be a stud in the bigs

Before my time but my schools' claim to fame is Mike Weir..
I even worked at the same grocery store as he did when he was a teen.
Story is Mike was picked on alot because he took his clubs to school with him everyday. When he was dropped off the school bus he would walk to the golf course across from his stop and play like every single day.
