You're probably not going to heed this advice for an old man. But I need to say it anyway. And remember who told you this.

Find a nice little job, find a nice little wife, buy a nice small home, raise productive children. Go to church weekly and give thanks that you're blessed to be born in great country, not Iraq.

Maybe make a little wager on sports here and there, but give a little money to good charities. Love and help your neighbor because this is why you are here on earth.  Not to spend a life taking money without working for it.

Remember the old Proverbs saying.. A fool and his money are soon parted.

I agree with most of what DJ is saying here.

In addition, borrowing $10k to gamble with has disaster written all over it.

If you decide to go through with it, best of luck to you.

    How old are you?

    Do you live at home?

Get a job and save $10,000. If you live at home it'll take a couple years.

In the meantime, refine your capping skills.

You will be AMAZED two or three or five years from now to see yourself in 2016 and realize how LITTLE you knew about capping. That's scary to get into with a 10K bankroll.

I'm 23 working at a job that barley pays the bills. I don't have the luxury to save 10,000 in a year. I don't where else to get a high bankroll.

No if you don't have enough money management skill. To build and sustain a bank roll then borrowing sustaining and paying the juice is impossible. If you were ahead and didn't need the money well that be different. But loosing borrowing and loosing even more good fnn way to get your legs broke. Take it for what's it worth but itas your legs pal....

My grandson and granddaughter are both in college. They are working their way through school.

He is 20 and will graduate this May, and did it in 3 years ! While working hard at the same time, and without any college debt. He now has a job offer.

She is 19 and is working a part time job while going to college, and does foster care for animals at the same time. She will graduate in 2 more years with no debt.

So if you think that you can become wealthy without schooling and working hard, you are dreaming.

So stop looking for a get rich scheme, and get on the ball. Learn something and work hard at it.  And you'll become successful.

    Good luck my friend.

This Ravid32 kid has got that gambling "itch", I can feel it. And as all us degenerates know full well, there's only one way to scratch it. So, Ravid32, what do you like? What's your game? Baseball? Basketball? Whatever it is, dive into that murky lake head first, my friend....

Listen to this man.  I dropped out of college after my freshman year because I had no clue what I wanted to do.  I was working full-time when my boss encouraged me to take night classes, which is exactly what I did.   I took night classes, attended during the summer and graduated with a BS in accounting.  I'm earning nearly 2.5x as much as I was making out of high school.

When I dropped out at 19, I thought $20 an hour was crazy money, but I was also living rent-free at the time, hahaha.  That was 12 years ago.

Gambling is not met to be a profession.  It's only to be used with discretionary income.

Heres what i suggest  find one play take all your money and put it on it  if u win u play the next day if u lose well ur pipe dream is crushed  it takes a lot of money to gamble at a professional level and not everyone can do it. if you win  take half what you won put it on the next game  the next day  and slowly build that way  if not consider it a lesson learned

People gamble in hopes they'll attain life-changing money. If you can put aside 10000$ and your job is fairly secure, you're not thinking gambling.
