Remember when you could greet your family at the airport with all of the dogs in the house at the gate?

Remember when there were only 3 channels on your television set to watch anything, including football. 
If you missed the game you had to ask who won or wait for the newspaper.

Remember when you used to have to buy/rent your porno movies from some off-the-wall video store, make your way to the gross curtained off back room filled with other pervs that you hoped didn't know you, and then get the disgusted, judging stink-eye from the foreigner that checked out your purchases?

Remember that annoying dial-up noise when logging on to AOL?  Anyone know what a/s/l meant when talking to someone in a chat room?

Used to love that squelch sound actually Slobb..Meant your 2400 baud modem was hooking up..(Packard Bell pc circa '94,Windows 95 capable $1500+)

Talking AOL and Prodigy and CompuServe,garbage remember the pricing per month? 25 hours free or something like that.then an hourly charge?

Just rememberd there were sites that paid you to run an ad page on the bottom of your screen and they would actually send you small checks..

I bought into Mindspring early on as the first $19.95 a month provider.

When you ran to the phone to answer it yelling, I got it!!! Oh ya, Phone was mounted on the wall in the kitchen!!!.

 That was our house too. One phone screwed to the wall in the kitchen. All of us ran like hell when it rang and my mom would say they're not here. Who knew what was on the other end of that line.

No answering machines.
No caller ID.

No I don't Mugg ... but I do remember in 1971 snooting 2 kids who were high on something and pointed a BB pistol at me. My career as a LAPD officer ended 4 days after I got my own unit, my idea.

Remember when you were driving and had to look for a phone booth to call in your bets to the book?

Remember when you had to remember how to get somewhere and remember landmarks (make a left at the Sunoco and then a right at the Mcdonalds)

Remember when your doorbell would ring and the family would rush to the door to see who was visiting for coffee and cake, now if the doorbell ring unexpectedly everyone hides and pretends not to be home.

The cars we drove back then...All made in the USA...Imports? What is that?

GM, Ford, or Chrysler was what we had....And yes...They would rust out in only a few years in the colder states...

I certainly can remember having a "rust bucket" or two when really young and having limited funds.

My first serious gf went to visit some family in San Diego and when she flew back I picked her up right at the f&cking gate at the Cincy Airport, and I know I smelled like booze....then she blew me in the Turfway Park parking lot and we went in and played the ponies...
