I was diagnosed with DSPS about 2 years ago, essentially it boils down to my body's internal clock being set in day sleeper mode. Weekends are great, up to 4/5 AM sleep till 2/3 PM, work days are horrible, up to 4/5 AM sleep till 7 AM. Have had this issue for almost 15 years, had been taking 3/4 Tylenol PM nightly but they are mostly for placebo effect at this point. 2 years ago doctor prescribed me Ambien, that lasted about 6 months without great results. Next I went out and bought a light box for $150, light therapy didnt go over too well either. Tried every over the counter product available.
About a month ago I started setting this software program at 60 min playtime by my bedside at around midnite/1 AM. Have never made it to the end. I turn the guy's voice all the way down, its the music and noises that put me out. Those extra 3/4 hours help a lot.
