crazy shit....no lying, i was on the same flight two weeks ago....3:30 out of laguardia to charlotte on us air on a thursday (new year's day). Gonna see if I can find out if it was the same tail number. (kellie pickler was on the same flight)

thanks BUT that was NOTHING compared to the flying THIS crew did. no power water ditching and they didn't bust the plane up? everyone gets out alive with a few minor injuries? UNREAL.

Amazing things some people did to save everyone... other "amazing" things can be seen in pictures where it appears passengers standing on the wings are actually holding luggage .   Some people....

"Sully" Sullenburger.
 
the name didn't ring a bell at first but when I saw his picture on TV, I remembered him. I flew co-pilot with him on the 737-300. good captain and even better all around person to work with. the passengers and crew were lucky to have him in command in this emergency.

You know what sucks is this is probably true. I would be so pissed if I was next to a person like that. I would have given anything to get out of there. The People on that flight will probably be compensated.

I was on Us Air over the holidays and we got delayed in/out of Philly because of snow/wind ..

The co-pilot of this plane is from Oregon, Wisconsin.
