Whites/Non-Blacks ALWAYS believe the Black man is out to kill them because they view them as inherently violent and dangerous. And this they should; it is the stereotype that has been fed to them since birth through the media establishment and their own societal enclaves which are typically dominated by their own race (no surprise there).
1. Just take things at face value in the Trayvon case and forget the rest (head bashing claim etc.) because that is not what I want to discuss here:
George Zimmerman believed a 17 year 158 pound male who is 3 inches taller than him would have killed him, even though he had a minimum of 42 pounds in extra weight.
Just take the confrontation (even if he was jumped/blindsided which Zimmerman has already admitted didn't occur because he saw Trayvon coming at him). Many here (even bigots) have frankly stated they would have sent a kid that age and size into next week if things got physical.
What did Zimmerman do? Thought his life was threatened and instead of fighting back decided to blow him away...and blow him away he did.
2. The Times Square shooting.
Another instance where not one cop, but twelve thought their lives or the lives of others were in such danger, they needed to execute what in all reality was likely a mental incompetent. 12 guns vs. 1 knife. The result? Over a dozen bullets and 5 bullet holes in yet another Black male. Virtually every cop was white in that shooting.
3. This incident.
A man sees his daughter get hit by a motorcycle and goes into a rage. If ever a rage was justified, wouldn't it be because your child was harmed? All he likely saw was his kid injured. That doesn't justify the beating but it certainly explains a lot for his misguided actions (i.e. you hurt my family, I hurt you which many here have probably uttered in the past). He wasn't looking for a fight.
Has anyone here ever gotten in a fight? Has anyone here ever lost a fight? Has anyone here ever gotten jumped (by 2, 3, 4 or more?). I can say yes to all those. I know many here can was well. Guess what? I didn't think my life was in danger at any time. I took my bumps and bruises and went home. Even bad ones. Many here can attest to the same. But no one died or even came close to dying.
But for this white cop, being hovered over and punched and kicked by 2 Black men (something I've personally experienced in a fight) he felt the need to shoot to kill and kill he did.
The common theme here is that the White/Non-Black is ALWAYS feeling his life is in danger whenever a Black man is involved, even if it's TWELVE GUNS vs. ONE knife.
And what's the other common theme? Usually the Black man ends up dead and there's only one story...the story of the shooter (Black witnesses be damned in the face of testimony of an off-duty cop).
Was this beating before the shooting justified? Probably not if he wasn't speeding and/or driving recklessly which we will never know). But was the shooting justified against a father who was enraged his daughter was almost killed and or maimed? Definitely not.
But when you are Black, you don't come back...especially if the confrontation is against a White/Non-Black shooter or the police...
Haha I knew if anyone could make the thought of the 2 guys beating the white guy up being justifiable it would be you Scal. Congrats
