my parents are taking me to a gamblers anonymous meeting tonight, and i dont know what to do!

if your parents are taking you to a GA meeting, they KNOW you have a problem.. get real with yourself and them..

Bet online, and bet small.

if you are being honest, go to the meetings + realize your vices and help yourself while you are young + obviously smart enough to curb evils in your life,  because you won't when you get older 

if this is a song and dance...don't gamble, sell crystal meth

absolutely not! lol

i dont think im even going to go back...it was very wierd being there.  I am 17 and i was sitting around 20 other people and the youngest one was probably in their late 30's...most of the people there were in there 50's and 60's.  I just want to pay up my debt and stop for good now. 

You dont need to stop but you need to change.

Read every single post from people that know what they are talking about (this might take a long time to figure out). Even the old ones. 

This should get you thinking the way you should be thinking.  Also being aorund hree long enough and you will see how losers think and bet.  Dont think or bet that way!

Read as many math oriented gambling books as you can.  It will get you thinking like an advantage gambler. 

When i first got here someone said "degenerates make the best gamblers because they will work hard to keep from working hard"

You have to be willing to work hard and to put time into this or you dont have a chance.

Don't shrug this off a's+o's.  College is really not hard if you are motivated and want to succeed, but you'll end up getting back from class and looking at lines, checking out covers, and bullshitting until game time... and then you have to watch the games until 1 in the morning.   Gambling will never really help you get ahead in life.

run some stat programs, track games for fun man...

you have lots of time to get the info...

you play for monies...it gets real.

and dont be a bullshitter either.
