Whats funny is that 95% of the tracks there not down South and about 75% of the drivers their not from the South . And what other sport bring in apx 100k of fans a week what baseball game NBA game or even a football game . No interest in nascar but meesh obama has 20 personal assistants(most ever before was 3 assistants) and jets around to marthas vineyard hawaii, spain and south africa with her massive entourage and eats lobster, filet mignon, and the best of everything while a real large percentage of our country is down right butt hurt these days.

shows up to a poverty conference with 500 dollar jeans etc.

she acts like marie antoinette

furthermore, i know for a fact she could give a shit about our soldiers and this is a publicity stunt. anybody who has studied her knows what she stands for.

even rednecks can smell shit over all that gasoline.

id boo her fat ass too and her husbands skinny one. no clue if the republicans can find a decent human being if they wont give ron paul the nod.....well its just another career crook.....but that doesnt change the fact that the obamas just suck

You are right about the large crowds. They have less events overall per season could help. If they had 160 races per year like baseball I doubt the rednecks could afford it. Basketball is what 90 games?

It would be funny to try and see ANY Nascar driver try to keep up with ANY basketbal player who has to run up and down the court. But I would bet that there are pro sports players that with a little practice, could drive a car fast.

But having Nascar drivers doing anything other than driving a car. They would look like a bunch of Forrest Gumps trying to hone in on the hand eye coordination among other things

I just watched the movie Bruno for the first time about a month ago. God damn this part where Bruno hits on him is hilarious! Ron Paul of course was not in on the joke.

Dale Bob I don't want to come across as being insensitive, but that name got a good chuckle out of me.

After all those great years with the Braves, I never suspected Dale Murphy was from Portland, Oregon.

He belongs in Cooperstown.

I am not a Nascar fan but I have to take up for them when they are criticized for being non-athletic.

Put Tony Stewart on a basketball court and he would throw up some bricks.

Put Lebron James on a race track and he would piss in his pants.

Say what you will against the Democrats and the Obama's specifically if you think it's necessary. The political discourse in this country has destroyed the ability of politicians to work together to resolve the simplest of issues, do you really think anything of substance will ever get done? Frankly, I think it shows just how insensitive and self centered we have become as Americans that some of us buy into the drivel and spew the same venom.

There are people in this thread that can't even construct a sentence properly but I'm suppose to believe they know what's best for me? Face the realities. When Obama beat McCain, the party for the Republicans was over. The failing economy at the time was a huge factor. Since then all Obama has seen is " the party of no".

The same classless mentality that boo's Michelle Obama also steadfastly refuses to work with her husband on anything that might positively affect you and I. The more we fight each other, the longer politicians will refuse to work on our behalf.

Prepare for another 4 years of Obama and his failings. That is the only "lock" there is.

they refuse to work with the administration because of the tricks power grabs and unconstitutional behavior of this admin. they became the party of hell no. now i had hopes for obama and voted libertarian because i disliked mccain.

realistically lets see why we have an ideological battle without compromise.

1 the bribed repubs are fighting the bribes dems and they all want their pet companies to get money we are having a tougher time printing. unions and social welfare qualify as bribers here.

2the far right religious people are diametrically oppose to the left extremists and the religious right is a big group. the leftist enviro progressives want ever increasing goverment and more control.

the fiscal tea party wants no taxes but its ok to spend like crazy on the military.

ill cut up whatever idiot the republicans put up so dont think its all one way. seriously can these gaps in belief and self interest be any farther apart??

you think somehow more government and the passing of more obama laws would be good? look at the ones hes passed and tell me the ones that didnt pass would be good.

obama is a different kind of idiot than bush but both have run us in to the ground. quit worshipping the man you think he should be and look at who he is.

start viewing washington as the problem and realize its not just the fact that its a democrat president being booed but a politician who is partly to blame for why our economy sucks and times are so hard for so many.

maybe the fact that she tells them what to eat when lifes pleasures might seem more important than her organic agenda.

maybe its her husband

maybe its because we are a suffering nation and self serving politicians are pissing people off.

maybe its because he cant compromise the way clinton could and be bipartisan

maybe his anti oil drilling oil pipeline issues have affected the gulf states economy.

whatever it is the criticism is valid and while you can disagree with it a hell of a lot of people think she deserved a boo for trying to pretend shes a military loving patriot. i think shes doing something she disagrees with just to look good and people can sense an act.
