Funny that you should bring up drones. How about torture and force feeding after they are 'caught?'

Immigration reform? That is already a hot and heavy issue among xenophobic GOP in Congress.

The US government, led by the Obama administration, have made the decision to prosecute a war against radical Islam by using Drones as one of their primary tools. This stance is the essence of acting in a “politically correct” manner. Taking American military casualties during the prosecution of offensive operations against said terrorists is something the administration is not keen on....it forces the government to admit that they are still prosecuting a “hot” war, rather than drawing down, or wrapping things up like promised. The Drone allows the US to conduct offensive operations without taking casualties, or things getting “messy” politically back home. The US, led by the Obama administration is acting in a politically correct fashion.  I am 100% correct in my definition of Drones being the politically correct way to fight a war.

As for the London attack being solitary in nature, I am surprised by your lack of compassion for the victim. True, only one man was killed, but he was a man that was killed for what he represented; he was a British soldier....an offense that was found to be punishable by death according to his executioners. You're stance seems to be that it is no big deal...an isolated incident.....yet you write volumes on the significance of the Trayvon Martin case, which is itself a single incident.

The biggest solution that I would suggest in dealing with the domestic threat of Radical Islam is for the American public to gain awareness of the problem. As Americans we need to understand that not everyone has our ideals and the same goals for their lives that we do.....and that Jihadi's and Islamic militants want to end our way of life and kill us. We need to respect that fact, and understand that with these militants there is no reasoning with them, or no middle ground. You cannot talk your way out of their wrath. And yes, it is unfortunate that these Radical Clerics recruit young, poor, uneducated kids and make them weapons....but it is important to admit the possibility that there are a lot of these radical types, and yes they are most likely everywhere.

Things like internment camps or government persecution of peace-loving Muslims are abominations. I am not suggesting that. But immigration, and the granting of student visas for foreigners hailing from militant parts of the world should be approached with the same vigor that the IRS uses when looking at Tea-Party member's tax returns.

Who the hell is Peter King, anyhow? McCarthyism? That comparison is laughable....did they just cover that in your social studies class? Did your teacher mention that during the Second Red scare here in the US that the Rosenberg’s were executed for stealing Atomic secrets and giving them to the Kremlin; uncovered through simple communist vetting? Just because McCarthy was a political monster, doesn't mean there wasn't a threat.

I was going to write a post that would been a book of sorts in response ripping everything you wrote but I'll just start with a simple question.

Mark Lewis (of The Daily Caller, you guessed it, a conservative fear mongering website)  is the first and one of the only sources that pops up in a google search that equates drones as politically correct warfare (forget the ACTUAL war we are fighting in Afghanistan, that'll ruin everything). 

Did you plagiarize this absurd idea or did you come up with it yourself?

If you allegedly came up with it yourself, do you read the Daily Caller (having the plausible deniability that you say it is your original idea but is actually through the reading of that site buried in your subconscious only to have you take credit for it later)?

Let's hear it. This should be interesting. Because your source means a lot if it is not an original idea. We all know which side that site leans and what message it has for the masses, a very similar one to your OP.

At the end of the day, I was looking for a legitimate debate with you concerning your points of view concerning Radical Islam....this was interesting to me because you have opposite view points on nearly every other political subject that there is, and it is important to attempt to broaden one's horizons...basic intellectual curiosity.

Instead, you resort to name calling and accusing me of "plagiarism".  I have never heard of the Daily Caller or Peter King....I like Joe Rogan's podcast though.   Maybe he will have Peter King on sometime so I can figure out who the hell that is.  The Vice series is pretty informative as well.  Pictures speak a thousand words....and these days, most op-eds are agenda-driven garbage. Maybe Vice will do a show on the Daily Caller.

These ideas concerning Drones and prosecuting politically correct wars are not new.  I could show you American written editorials from the 1940's that suggest the US government was prosecuting an "immoral air war" due to our carpet bombing of Europe and our firebombing campaigns in Japan.....these operations were considered to be "immoral" to many because of the way in which the war was being prosecuted...from a distance.  Much the way that Drones are being used now vs Islamic Radicals.  They should cover that next semester in your US in World Affairs class.

Of course,  it would have been very difficult for you to Google the terms "politically correct" and Drone, and pick out the first conservative website and accuse me of plagiarism.

At the end of the day, you strike me as an angry college kid that thinks he has a unique take on the World.  After you mature a bit, maybe even see a bit of the very World in which you know so much about, and draw some real-life conclusions based on experience, then you may quit wasting your time attacking others in chat rooms like these. However, I fear that you are older than I am...and for that I have no answer.  I guess I don't really know what else to say to you....good luck?

Admittedly, one of the reasons I created this thread was to debate someone with opposing view points. It was an attempt to educate myself on the mindset that would go into having a viewpoint opposite of mine, and maybe spark a few new thoughts on  just how the two trains of thought could be so different.

At the end of the day, you just do not possess the mental horsepower to keep up, or do anything but attack or argue semantics.

For the record, when I use the term "wake up", I mean the following:  do not let your kindness and tolerance cloud your ability to recognize danger.  We have been shielded from the constant  threat of radical violence for most of our lives here in the US; it is important to recognize and admit that there are threats to our way of life, and to ignore those threats in an attempt to act in a "politically correct" manner is cowardice.

The thing that scares me is that people in this thread actually think they have a clue as to what is truly going on in this world.  Your sources are likely the little black box in your house or other mainstream sources through the Internet.  We laugh at people like the Koreans who are "crazy brainwashed" people, yet refuse to accept we might be just as well.

Hell must be freezing over because I completely agree with you on this subject. 

We've obviously had our differences on religion and while I am not a fan of any religion, Islam is the one whose spread I fear the most. While some in Christianity tell me I will go to hell for not believing, Muslims believe in speeding up my trip to hell for not believing, preferably by beheading if possible. 

Also, has anyone noticed that this guy was saying "our lands" in the video taken of him? When does "our lands" stop becoming a middle east country and becomes England, Sweden, Netherlands, or Germany? Especially with the idea of "Londonistan" now coming about.

I have no problem restricting immigration. I'm content with America's current population and the demographics of our population. I'd be in favor of cutting any red tape and expediting the deportation process if/when necessary as well.

I think containing this situation is about containing population growth and the momentum of ideas and the radicalization of those ideas. This is a situation that really needs to be examined closely and not letting it get out of control.

I don't know the percentage but I'm willing to bet the more their population spreads across Western civilization the more that percentage will grow and the more you will see tragic events like this happen. I don't see them hacking apart in Muslims on the street in England. 

I'm not trying to find out what happens if/when Sharia Law is forced upon Western society, keep that stuff in the Middle East. America might be far from perfect but I imagine it beats the crap out of living in a place with Sharia law.

I'm not trying to find out what happens if/when Sharia Law is forced upon Western society, keep that stuff in the Middle East. America might be far from perfect but I imagine it beats the crap out of living in a place with Sharia law. 

Sorry but I like having the right to gamble, drink, have pre-marital sex, etc etc.

I don't know if it's your goal to alienate everyone on this site but you're doing a great job. Even in disagreement, I have always been more than civil to you in the past. If you want to be a douchebag about it though then I will stop. 

I am not a fan of any religion, however I dislike Islam most of all. Nothing like calling Islam a peaceful religion when beheading ISN'T viewed as an extreme way of killing someone. I'm not trying to find out what life is like under Sharia Law. I like having the choice to gamble, drink, and fornicate before marriage. I definitely wouldn't want to live under Sharia Law if I was a woman.

i disagree with you.  of course i don't want to live under sharia law but that just doesn't seem to be realistic here.  muslims have no influence in this country. 

on the other hand, being a woman in christian taliban country is a serious issue. what if you are a poor woman living in the bible belt who wants education or various health tests but can't because the taliban is constantly trying to defund your sole source of information or treatment.  or you are a woman who got pregnant and the christian taliban forces you to undergo a procedure invading your body or some hypocritical nutjob politician passes a law deciding for you what you can do with your body or passes a law saying the fetus is a person so you have to answer to the law if you have a miscarriage.  those things are real and seem to be getting worse in some places.  sharia law is not.
