Actually i was wrong, at the time you called the guys all in (not knowing the guy behind you was going to call) you were above 50% so its not a terrible call. Once the guy behind you calls, your percentages drop drastically. Since you were all in before the ace hit I would put your chances of winning about 40%.

You cant say that unless you know who else was in the hand. Thats a tough laydown no matter whos at the table and 10/J is the most likely boat hand (10/7 possible of course).

For a hundred-ish bucks to win 500+ I aint laying that down.

Yea I corrected myself in post 27. In that situation, if is definitely the caller behind you that should worry you the most.

BOL to you man but sounds like you need to lay off the boozing and gambling. Also, TRY and work on your grammar a bit (yes, I know, mine is not perfect) but some of your posts are almost un-readable...no offense.

If you continue to play the tables and play blackjack, craps, etc.  You will be broke in less than 40 days.  You dont stand a chance.

Also I dont see how you can go from 1-2 no limit, to having 1700 dollar swings in black jack.

You need to treat this as a job -  Would you drink and smoke at your desk if you worked in a office?

I am just telling you this as I lived in AC for 3 months last summer,  Doing something similar to you...And at the end I ended up making very little due to craps.

If you really want to make money off of this experience you should cut down on the drinking and improve the grammar. Then keep notes on your experiences, start networking with people at the tables and turn this into a book or a magazine article and look to sell it.

    BOL in your adventures.

You need to treat this seriously.
Ever wonder why guys like Billy Walters do well?
They are very organized, meticulous about their work. They aren't there to have a good time every night/day. They create an empire of information and knowledge is power. At the very least, you should have an excel sheet with all your plays on a daily basis, indicating how you're doing. To be honest, the way you should view gambling at the casino is the way you should view drinking. Do you drink 50-100$ worth every night? Most people do that maybe once or twice a week, on the weekends. My rule for casinos is to only bring what I would bring if I were drinking, since it's the same thing, entertainment on a night out. If you lose it, it's as if you had a night drinking. No harm no foul.

I keep hoping we are witness to one of the greatest undercover sting operations ever attempted.  The kid getting wasted on a nightly basis, throwing money at basket squares and overplaying poker hands.

Then, the last night of the trip, BANG.  His boyz lock in the sharp playz and pound out a 12-1 slaughter house, pick him off the poker tables and get outta town with the big cash.

It's hard to keep it going. You turn dead inside but tell yourself that's life. I'm at at point where nothing matters. That is good and bad. I wont go into that.
I've been on a two month shenanigans stretch that in a blur and wont even mention the $ amount go through my hands. Sickening but that's what I consider normal.
Bit'ches, drugs, gambling, and what society considers destructive degenerate behavior for a 33 year old man is all I know. And doubt I will change.
All I can say is when you get caught up and slip in the life you will see. I thought golf was the greatest till I made it my life. Then I realized a game I loved was also my downfall to me splitting focus with banging out of town strange and boozing late nights.
You will see the ride I'm talking about and the lows are low due to reliving losses. Also say goodbye to the wife you say u have! Lol. I give it less than 6 months before emotions get ya. I've been at it since 2004 and have ice in my veins and don't give a f'ck about anything. A

Now I am persuing my third unacheivable goal in life. If accomplished my first two but I'm never happy with being mediocre. Or settling cause society says we should. I've walked away from things some considered me retarded for. I just am a different cat that believes in what I can do
I don't mind putting my life on the line for taking chances. F'ck it and good luck to ya Playa.

if your dream had potential of becoming a goal, you shud easily be up by now.

from what most have read by who u are and your experience. you have no chance at this. none.

I smell $25 10 team parlays and lengthy keno sessions in your near future...

enjoy time with the mrs this wknd, and then go back to the normal life with her. you can go do the lonely degenerate life later on when she leaves your a**...

I wish you luck tonight but from some of your posts,  you will be eaten alive in the 2/5 at borgata,  especially on a Monday night.  I know most of the those guys and you will need luck tonight to win.  I really hope you win,  but 2/5 at borgata during the week is a tough game to beat consistently.

if you are smart -  you should continue to play at revel,  where there are more tourists who over play hands,  along with caesars, tropicana....those are the most beatable 1-2 games in AC.

dont play at ballys because all they will have is 1/1 with regulars who are broke and just grind out money for craps and black jack

Funny you should mention this NR as I'm going to be down for a week at the end of the month and thought about playing at Ballys when there wasn't a game running at Revel. Is the 1-3nl a reg fest as well?
