Well saying "everyone was doing it," is probably a bit of a mistatement. Not everyone was doing roids in baseball, but I still kind of ignore most of the significant accomplishments in that era because you just don't know. And that probably hurts some of the guys who were clean. Just as in cycling, I'm guessing there were some clean riders.
In the absence of concret information, that's just my take. If it's no big deal to you, then so be it.

I think they are currently freezing the samples, but they may not have started this until the last few years. But I'm not positive.
No hating here, it was a very well written article. Makes you wonder if Martha Stewart would have stuck to her guns given a chance at a do-over. On a side note, undoubtedly this is news to George Hincapie that a performing enhancing drug has been named after him. "Doing a George H cycle" is how the hip kids describe it.
