Hardcore criminals get free legal aide, you don't think Lance can? The burden shouldn't be on the innocent (but it is) to prove their innocence, fked up I say.

If you're innocent you don't give up if you're going to lose everything, you fight till death and lose everything.

On the other hand, if he's really innocent, then they giveth and now they taketh. How else can you explain this type of lynching on a man. There must be some proof of guilt...we shall see. If not...

we may have another conspiracy here boys...did he or didn't he? and why did he surrender? who's after him and why?

I wanted to know more about the case and this article seems to be spot-on about the overall process and it's hypocritical ways. After reading this I can better understand why he said it just ain't worth fighting anymore (when you're going up against an organization that has ruled against 58 of 60 American athletes) .

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/othersports/lance-armstrong-doping-campaign-exposes-usadas-hypocrisy/2012/08/24/858a13ca-ee22-11e1-afd6-f55f84bc0c41_story.html

Like with Jo Pa having over 100 of his victories stripped away, I think they're overreaching here as well.

Um, the likelihood of you passing hair, urine, and blood sampled drug tests 500 times if you're doping is absurdly small.

Do you honestly believe that his wasn't cheating? How about Barry Bonds? His head must have grown naturally...

When did he fail a test from MLB?  Link?

I gave him the benefit of the doubt and it looks like I got duped.  Plenty of others cheated, but that doesn't make it right.

I'm a huge TDF fan and his actions will taint a lot of good memories for me.

When you are busted, you are busted.  A shame because Livestrong has done so many good things and now it's going to be associate with him.

    You blew it, Lance.

I have strong opinions, but I'm not going to make $hit up to avoid admitting I was wrong.

The burden shouldn't be on the innocent (but it is) to prove their innocence
    _____________

This is complete B.S.  Lance never had to prove his innocence.  He wasn't found "guilty" until the appropriate evidence was produced.

Case in point:  Casey Anthony....found NOT guilty.  99.9% of people think she was guilty.  But they couldn't produce enough evidence to convict her.  Jury even said they thought she was guilty but made their decision based on the evidence....or lack there of.

If she would have had to prove her innocence, she'd be in jail right now.

The guy's total of piece of garbage & complete fraud & an absolute con-man to boot. The entire truth is just starting to come out about this guy. It's gonna get very ugly for Lance over the next 6 months.

I'm in the same boat. Honestly after watching 60 Minutes and his teamates ratting him out, i got disgusted and stopped payin' attention to the drama ... seemed like he said /she said WWF style "throw sh1t n see what sticks" stuff.

I was a little biased too that the French were the most forthright about their beliefs . lol

I'm still really ambivalent about the whole thing but i'm more into the comedy that will come out of this fall from grace lol.

Does it matter that Bonds didn't fail a drug test? What do you think he was innocent or something?

How does it not matter? You know he cheated 100%?  How?

peds are the greatest thing to ever happen to sports--without them, sports are boring to watch.  and all of you salty nutlickers who now decry that era were creaming your shorts throughout that era at guys like lance and barry and sammy and mark and..., yet you damn well knew at THAT time that they were all cheating.  either their bodies were too huge or as in lance's case, he never raced except the tdf, yet always won.

the world is ever-changing, and chemicals and pharmacology are merely a part of that world.  what happens when the japs make an android in 30 years that can't be distinguished from a human, and make that android the greatest baseball player of all time?  nothing in the rules say a player must be human.  and what about guys like kobe who go to germany to get an operation that is ILLEGAL in the u.s. so that he can continue to play?

you anti-roids guys are worse than the war-on-drugs guys.

This ^^. Love him or hate him, Barry Bonds on steroids was the best player to ever stand in the batter's box. That's not debatable, it's backed up by dominant statistical proof. It's even more impressive when you consider the amount of walks he was issued along MAYBE getting a few good pitches to hit the entire game.

We'll never, EVER see anyone be that dominant again. Same thing with routine 500+ ft homers from Sosa and McGwire. To be brutally honest, the batting practice when they came to your town (I was lucky they were both in the NL Central along with my pathetic Pirates) eclipsed the actual game on the field. You don't see that any more either, probably never will.

Whether it's cycling, baseball, football, basketball, hockey, boxing, darts, hot air balloon racing or whatever... everyone did it.

I have always kinda disliked Lance Armstrong for whatever reason, not sure why.  But I don't get the point of this whole thing.  People hounding some guy who isn't even racing anymore and is out of the sport and never tested positive during his actual career?  Seems odd they have such a big hard on for the guy at this point.

It is also made clear that every other clown in cycling cheats as well, so that makes it a pretty even playing field for the most part.  I doubt he was so much better at doping than the rest of these idiots (including his teammates doing the same doping) that he won the 7 in a row because of it.
