Whacha got planned?


I got this covered for Friday.

1:30pm Manicure and Pedicure with Wifey

5:00pm Lobster Dinner

8:00pm ZZ Top Concert

$5K Bankroll for Pai-Gow Poker and Blackjack.

Best Wishes man! Myself is work all weekend and then be at the airport at 5AM Labor Day..Vegas baby! uintil the 14th Plan is hit the Gold Coast about 11 am and so it begins..Bankroll 50% of your one night action but I'm very good at low-rolling.

There is no way I will drop $5K.  But if you show them the money it gets their attention.  Dealer calls out $5K and the floor comes running over.  LOL.

Thanks GG ..saw zz in late 70's Asbury Park..can;t remember who opened the show but they sucked..Not Foghat but they wore reflective hat/mirrors that would kill your eyes from the stage lights..Not good after day drinking on the beach..Gonna load up Tres Hombres now

No Convention hall on the boardwalk..Pony was never concerts just a busy club..it actually sucked unless you were by yourself or your guy friends,take your girl there and ya gotta watch her behind all night..

After Springsteen left it was the Jukes and BonJovi but Bruce would show up on Sunday Nights and play for awhile..pretty cool at 17 with a semi-fake ID (NJ driver's permit,wrong DOB).

Cant' imagine what CBGB's was like at the time

Goose....MY weekend started last Saturday with Black Sabbath at Mohican. Work  Monday - Thursday   . Pack our bags and leave  for San Diego to see our 2 boys  Then go to Petco Park on  labo ur day

  Goose : ZZ Top played at The casino ?? I guess I am out of it. I saw them at Great Woods in 2004 ,and they put on a damn good show. I gotta meet up with you there one of these days. Have a safe weekend everybody. Look out for the men in blue....

Covers Brothers:  Just now back home safely from Foxwoods.  Awesome performance.  Will update later hopefully with some Pics and Video.  If you ever wondered what TheGoldenGoose looks like, this will be your chance.  CHECK IN LATER.  The Men in Blue were out in full force.  Everybody be safe and have a great weekend.

You would think that after Four Decades of Rocking that Billy Gibbons, Dusty Hill, and Frank Beard all at age 67 would sound sloppy and beaten down by Father Time.  You would be wrong.

The most amazing fact I took home after last night's Foxwoods concert was that these guys are as tight and professional and dedicated as ever.  If they can hold together for five more years (and after seeing it with my own eyes and hearing it with my own ears, it is most definitely achievable) ZZ Top will become the only Five Decade Band in history.

You cannot compare Frank Beard with other Rock and Roll Drummers.  It's apples and oranges.  Beard keeps a loud and steady rhythm and never missed a single beat.  A perfect compliment for Gibbons and Hill.

Dusty Hill's bass guitar blasted so loud that, I sh!t you not, it shook the seat of my Mezzanine VIP seat.

But make no mistake the straw that stirs the drink is Billy Gibbons lead guitar and vocals.

"Sharp Dressed Man" has always been my favorite but "Tush" was the crowd's biggest applause choice in the final three encores.

Just a fukking awesome concert.

BlackJack Round 1 - Minus $550

BlackJack Round 2 - Minus $875

Took a break and Wifey wants to play a $1 Double Diamond Slot.  Feeds it a Franklin.  I don't tell her what to do, she's a big girl, but I insist she plays the maximum 5 coins each pull.  About the tenth pull I'm reaching for the next Franklin.  Seen this movie before, right?  Three Double Diamonds come shining.  Played it a while longer and nothing.  Plus $926

Blackjack Round 3 - Plus $775 (Slid back from Plus $1025)
So, got to stop the Minus 25% slide, time to leave.

Very modest $276 gambling profit.  Threw the dealer a quarter.  Threw the 3rd Baseman a quarter so he could Double Down (Poor baztard was playing perfectly but was taking the crunches for an hour for the rest of us at the table)  We watched as he hits the DD and turns that $100 into $700... He's back in the game!!!!!  Guy comes over and hugs me and Wifey as we leave.  LOL.  Threw the waitress a quarter she was serving us two bottled waters every trip.

$200 more than we started. Comped Lobster Diner with friends.  Comped ZZ Top Mezzanine VIP seats.
