Just saw Rambo 1 : First Blood for the first time and . . ..

Rambo III is on all the time, I see Rambo II on way less, Rambo I is on every other day. 

every time I watch Rambo III    I am reminded of our foreign policy, and how it never seems to change.  Freedom-fighters become Evildoers in a blink of an eye, and all we have to show for it are cool movies.  

Do you think that Stalone is hated in Russia?  
I mean he made a career out of exploiting their Vietnam, and depicting their athletes as cheating steroid monster/ murderers.

As you might expect, the novel (by David Morrell) was a lot better than than movie.  (And yes, the movie was okay, but the book was great.)

You can find used copies on Amazon for just a couple of bucks.

Saw Rambo III last nite!!!!

 

Also saw "Death Wish II" with Bronson, gonna rent DeathWish I today

 

I dont know why but im getting into these old school movies, never really saw them when I was young

I remember about a year ago there was a situation in west Texas that was just like First Blood. There was a vet who supposedly snapped and was hiding out in his cabin in the woods. He injured a few police officers, but didn’t kill any of them. He also took one of officers’ radios and was supposedly taunting them.  I can’t remember how it turned out though.
