Yeah, I surely would not even step foot in that locker room, much less shower in that evil facility.

What kind of people live in Happy Valley anyway? How sick are these people?

but everyone at covers would throw down his sneakers and start beating the piss out of a scary, naked dude in the shower who is banging a 10 year old, no questions asked.  hell, sandusky would kick over half people's asses, hes not some small dude by the way.

i am so sick of people letting the police of the hook for their failed investigation in 1998 when this could have been stopped.  In fact, Paterno was the only one who did a thing, firing Sandusky.

Dont think for one minute Sandusky wasnt bitter either, and i think he is a sick fuck who obviously has many issues, most of which is molesting kids.  But something tells me he wanted to stick it (no pun) to Paterno and Penn State just as much for his firing and not getting the gig from Paterno.  Joe told him he would not be the man to take over back in 98.  This would also show how sick a fuck this guy is by actually answering the door when a reporter showed up there two days ago.  Who in this situation answers the door??  Oh, Sandusky, draped in Penn State warmups.

Dont get me wrong, far too many were negligent here and the shame is all of the victims here of course.  But i think Sandusky had alterior motives to fuck joe and others too.  The guy admitted in 1998 he molested kids and the COPS did nothing.

Stop letting the COPS off the hook here so easily, they didnt do their job!!!  Joe did his job, legally, perhaps not morally.  But I am sick of all the people blaming him and McQueary as much as they blame Sandusky.  Give me a break, they are not nearly as at fault like they are child molesters.  A pathetic comparison.

Not to mention, nobody here besides the Attorney General and police have all the facts and joe was not charged in any way shape or form but 3 others were.

IF joe knew 100 percent about all of these details, yeah he is a piece of shit.  But no one on covers.com knows what joe knew, its all speculation.

And to calm all of your calling for his head like you would be the one to let him go, newsflash, there have been rumors that he was going to announce before the nebraska game this is it for him anyway.  Odds were estimated at about 60-75 percent he was done due to health, he would presumably get the record, he has no qb to win a national championship with, and felt a real shot to get a great candidate with Dungy and Urban available/interested.

One last thing, you think the PSU coaches didnt know this was coming?  They testified in December 2010, so its been almost a year.  Joe could have bowed out gracefully last year and avoid this sure circus this year.  He did not.

Lets let the man speak and see what he says, he wanted to today and the president who is more responsible than him if there was a cover up would not let him due to fear of what he might say.  Joe may have a completely different story of who knew and what he tried to do that none of us know.  He may have covered it up, no one can say 100 percent.

Focus on the victims and the predator Sandusky.  And if you want to move on from that, the pigs who didnt follow through in 1998 or thereafter.  No red flags when Sandusky was mysteriously let go by Paterno?  The cops are supposed to protect our society, thats what they get paid for.  They failed these kids more than any parent/administrator.

A couple things you say here are Bullshit.

    1. Sure, "Joe, Could have bowed out last year and Didn't"

I'm sure he didn't want to break the NCAA records for most wins.

    2. Ummm.  That GA did get an Assistant Coaches job and Penn State instead of working in some Shitty office job in Central PA or running some Middle School Gym Class.  Interesting how he got the job.

    3.  If one of your employees witnesses a Child getting raped would you not take that seriously?  Who would make shit like that up?

Everyone who knew should be terminated.  Everyone who covered it up should be prosecuted.

By the way.  That District Attorney from 1998 who did not pursue charges disappeared in 2005.  No one has seen him since.

Please all.  Reread the Grand Jury Indictment

Can we please STOP with this “but he did good stuff” garbage. John Wayne Gacy dressed up as a clown and brought happiness to many children. Is that how we remember him? Of course not. So please, for the love of God and the Flying Spaghetti Monster, STOP bringing up the “good” stuff he did in an attempt to try to smooth over his inactions.

When the time came for Joe Paterno to act like a real man, he acted like a selfish creep. As a result, scores of children were abused. Why is he still coaching today? I guess this football season trumps abused children, at least in the eyes of Penn State who is allowing him to “retire” at the end of the season. He can walk away, unlike Sandusky’s victims.

There are allegations that Sandusky was abusing boys on campus at Penn State as far back as 1994. In 1999 he was told by a campus detective to no longer use the showers. He agreed & was forced out of his job. Why? What was Paterno’s role in that? In 2002, while still having keys to all the facilities Sandusky was witnessed by the now receivers coach sodomizing a 10 yr old boy. Instead of stopping it, he called his Dad who told him to tell Paterno who notified his immediate superior. Didn’t call the police at all. This wasn’t heresay it was actually witnessed. So Paterno knew 100% that Sandusky had raped a 10 yr old boy for sure no doubt since 2002. 9 yrs. It really seems he has known since 1994. 17 years. How many rapes could he have prevented if he just told the police? His arrogance to say that Penn State doesn’t need to worry one second about him. Just like he didn’t worry 1 second about those children. He will forever be linked to this. Shame on him.

Some irony in this is that Paterno was all too happy to sit on his moral high horse and bash other programs for recruitment violations; meanwhile little boys are being sodomized and forced to perform oral sex on his pedophile friend in his football program’s showers.

Maybe he was sucking off JoePa.  He sure has something on JoePa that he's not telling.  Something doesn't smell right.  I understand friendship...but this smells like something more.

Hope that news report is accurate. It's time to end this and let the investigation begin.  The entire staff needs to go, we all agree on that.

Thank you Penn State pedo coaches, and the entire press.

Now this country will take these horrific acts and violations more seriously.

Happens every day in this country. Fucking sick.
