the only way you will probably find out is if someone goes bragging about it or this and that and word comes back to you..just kick everyones ass that you think did it this way you know whoever did it got beat up

13 yo would definately confide in his mother prior to doing anything, keep in mind they have never ever came into the garage while i was smoking, i wait until they are asleep or gone. They also don't know about the lock box.

lol no i was kidding about the whole kicking ass thing, but yeah, just take it piece by piece.. the word will get around eventually, they obviously dont hate you if they left ya a little piece to smoke and also didnt take nothing else or break anything.. soon as you hear some kind of bad thing happen to the one you think it is you will know it was him and he is just getting some karma...but i personally dont think its the guy that sold it to you.. it is either the athlete or he got someone to do it and told them exactly where it was.. or possibly your kids depending on there age.. if they are teens i wouldnt put it past a teen pothead in a second... as the butler from mr deeds said.. "dont underestimate there sneakiness"

If the kids are above 13.....id put my left nut one of them was in the garage looking for a basketball or something when they smelled some very dank weed coming from a lock box they had never seen before. They then broke it open and got baked for days while you were tweaking out looking everywhere for it not suspecting the kids and its not like you can call them out on it saying did u steal my weed bc mb they didnt haha and u look like a prick high ass.

the file cabinet stuff was very stinky, i took measures to subdue that, however; the lock box did not smell at all, i'm telling you there is no way you would find that lock box unless you had seen it before, which brings me to the athlete
 
he may have seen it, but he was the only one
 
i just don't see this guy doing that, he would at least beg me for a handout before he would steal from me

ok so the athlete guy is the one that seen the lock box?.. it is him..case closed.. that is if you REALLY honestly believe you can rule out the children...you thinking that the athlete wouldnt do something like that makes it better for him

I am telling you, there is no way either one of my kids would have takin it to smoke it, if anything they would have thrown it away, but i can't eliminate their friends. Again the question of the lock box comes into play. If they just took the new stuff near the opening, why take the lock box too, which had hardley anything in it.

i thought it was the athlete before i knew he seen the box, but now that you said he has seen the box.. oh it was him.. and no he wouldnt ask for a handout.. come on.. option 1)ask for a handout probably get a day or two worth.. option 2) go in there or send someone in and get 300 worth and smoke like a king... for free

Whoever knew about it took it. Pisses me off reading this because when I was in college I had a bunch that I kept in the kitchen and all my friends knew about it. I had some people over one night and somebody unlocked the back door in the kitchen. We went out for drinks after that and the next day I went into the kitchen in complete horror and saw the door unlocked and weed gone. They also took my cd collection. I called the cops, they didn't do shit though. I never found out who did it and I never trusted anybody that was in my house again that night after that. Hope you find out who did it, I was really hurt that somebody I knew would do that to me and never knowing who it was hurt more because it had to be a trusted friend.

This guy has had every oppoutunity to do this for the past 10 years and it suddenly happens now. He is definately a druggie, but I just don't see him doing this. Although if anyone would have the heart to leave a nugget, it would be him.

it was him,you just dont want to believe it was.. everything points to him.. no doubt about it..give him the ol the lady next door seen you trick or something, but either way it was him or he sent someone in.. if i were you i would confront him.. tell him he coulda just asked yadda yadda yadda.. soften him up maybe you will get a confession then beat his face in.. lol just messin.. im off to watch chuck and larry.. keep me posted if you hear anything..sorry to hear about it man.. as you said not about the weed just how he would disrespect you and break in like that
