you guys don't know shit. Many large companies that require drug testing offer employee assistance programs to help employees out before firing. Now being a Pilot or truck driver is one thing. but pushing a pencil or managing a club is not hurting anyone so they will give you a one time pass.

i dont think i would get fired honestly, my owner is the most liberal guy in the world

and did ron washington look like a balding buckwheat on sportscenter or was it just me, i would fire him for that hair alone, i bet imus was having a field day with it

It just makes one wonder why MLB has drug testing at all. But they said it right, "We (MLB and Washington) didn't want this to get out because it would affect the sale price of a team". Another blackeye for baseball!

Cocaine is terrible for you.

The people saying it isn't that bad probably say so because they have done it and know that it doesn't 'fuck them up' or make them sick or anything - doesn't mean it isn't terrible for you.  Stupid drug in general IMO.

I would give him a 2nd chance for most drugs but I would tell him that I was disappointed in his choice of drugs, and might fire him for using coke.

From a managers standpoint, I would rather have a cokehead working for me than a pot head. The guy on coke is much more likely to get work done haha.

As for the person who blames today's society for making this world shit. I am going to blame the older society for shipping our jobs overseas so that there are no real jobs for us to work at out of college. Thanks.

My next door neighbor works for an investment firm and day trades...he and the majority of his co workers do lines right off their desks to stay sharp...its not frowned upon in the slightest, hes worked for another firm where its common place as well...

And I highly doubt I would be fired for using coke.  If its not affecting the work I do, why the hell would they care?
