Let me just answer you this way, when I was very young I instinctively knew that a woman was made for a man, this was even before I knew anything about the bible. How did I know this, well from being raised by my parents...a father and a mother and my father was always the boss of the household.
As I was growing up I was always attracted to girls because of the beauty and gentleness that they possessed. Their beautiful soft radiant skin, their finely shaped bodies were just so appealing and attractive to me.
And then I began seeing guys with other guys and thought man...that is so odd. Why are they not with women, why are they choosing a guy over a woman. I thought surely this is a bad choice and not right.
Then eventually I began to read the Holy Bible and sure enough, I found out I was right, it is a wrong choice, because to God it is a detestable sin.

Remember, we arent talking about Gods extistence in this case, we are talking about his law.

You have also missed the main point.
If you have a desire and emotion to bash a person sexual, IT is not ok to act on your desire and action just as the same If you have a desire and emotion to be with another man, it is not ok to act on your desire and action.
We ALL carry desires and emotions that breaks Gods rules.
But let me say something, i am not a homosexual, that does not mean i am any better or any worse than a homosexual.
I am a sinner just like the homosexual......

Rostos: nothing should be considered a sin if it doesn't harm others. I have no desire to have penis in my asshole, but if my fellow man does, how does it hurt me or you or mikniks or matt or anyone else? Why does god care?
And this is why it is such a problem discussing God's characteristics with atheists.....
By having a discussion with atheists about Gods characteristics, it is effectively a mute point. A theist like myself, abide by Gods rules and laws, some of those overlap the state law and others dont like Homosexuality.
For example, muslims arent allowed to eat pork. If a muslim is having a discussion with me about this, it is a mute point for me, because i am not a muslim, he may as well be talking in another language to me much like i am talking a different language to you about Gods law and homosexuality to you.......
You will have to argue that it is wrong for God to make homosexuality a sin....But you dont believe a God exists, so the argument is a fallacious one and you have no business in it.

He dislikes ALL sexual acts done by people that are outside of marriage between a man and a woman.
Whether it is fornication, adultery, prostitution, pornography or homosexuality.
The focus shouldn't just be on homosexuality, but ALL acts done that are sexually immoral.
