If you could get more than 1 cent per penny, then everyone would convert bills to pennies and then cash out the pennies at higher value.

I am not sure how the law works with this. it allows junk silver to converted to silver even if it was us currency at one time. Pennies pre 1981 are made of a copper bronze composite, and are worth more than a penny. the copper clad zinc pennies in todays circulation are now worth at par with a penny...

At the local Indian Casino they put in a machine that converts change to $ and there is no Bite because the cage was tired of people bringing in nickels/pennies to play slots that only take dollar bills.Someplaces take 10% or you could go to 7/11 and that dish by the register "Take a penny-leave a penny" and leave a shiiit-load.

a penny is a penny a blank to stop a 22 driver for driving into cement costs 2 pennies a penny works great in aplication of placing 2X4 into crete walls in a structure (keeps the nail from just blowing through the wood.

( probably should not look into the fasteners used at mystic apartments north of Boston near somerville. could reveal a whole garbage load of destruction of government property)

rip up the floors reveals where the mice deposit these fastener and even better the mice will give you the pennies needed.

guess my point is stop using these pieces of non existant worth and round to a nickel. I do not have any interests in copper or zinc mines, so i guess i am a monoirty opion at least canada figured it out Mining interests do not own that government.
