Also how do you know the individual that took the money was Japanese? Could be an American-European, Italian, Hispanic etc.

all scalabrine is posting are speculated stories. amazingly no actual footage of these crimes happening. unlike katrina and the various riots where people were just waiting to take advantage of a bad situation and it is all documented with video.
Your absolutely right! Whites were damn sure to tape the black guy with the pair of sneakers in Katrina.
Of course, in my OP, whites were photographed as well but those photos were not even remotely as widely publicized, if at all. (this is probably the FIRST time many of you saw such a photo).
Japanese citizens are little more concerned with radiation at this point than whipping out a cell phone don't ya think?
And that disproves the looting? Because camera phones aren't showing the world the looting?
I've posted two articles, one of which made it all the way to yahoo, that there is looting in Japan, yet because of cognitive dissonance, the posters of this thread are STILL in denial.

Just making a point about another thread that indicated there was NO LOOTING in Japan and the subsequent field day covers members had disparaging blacks in the process.
There WAS LOOTING in Japan (and there will be more) and it is perfectly reasonable! These people are trying to survive and we all would do it: black, white, asian, etc...

It's more than 'an individual' looting in Japan now as I posted in #53.
And why are blacks only taking shoes and dvd players. Why? Because that is what you have been conditioned to think they took by the media.
Did they take that? Probably! But they also took food. And when you are trying to survive, in NO or Japan, is it looting when you take food?
The bottom line is this: EVERY CITIZEN OF EVERY COUNTRY would loot in this situation and as you can see, they are looting in Japan.
It's not just those violent, lazy, aggressive, unemployed blacks! (again, your conditioning coming into play)

Can you explain why it took close to a week for the " looting " ( even though it sounds more like opportunism to me ) to begin in Japan and why it took perhaps 5 minutes for the systematic crime spree in New Orleans?
Care to explain " conditioning " in regards to this discrepancy?

The article you linked in post #53 talks about people looting food water gasoline etc. which anybody would do when millions of people are displaced for sheer survival.
That is a far cry from looting a big screen TV or a pair of the latest nike's.
But hey you got the negative attention you desire out of this post.

Also I live in Los Angeles and I remember very vividly the looting that took place. Everybody was trying to "get theirs". I worked at the LA County Probation Department at the time.
Trust me they were not looting food or water for survival nor was I "conditioned" by the media. I saw first hand what was going on. Hell even some of my coworkers at the time were bragging about the "free99 electronic sale going on" in south central.
My aunt lived in a fringe area of South LA at the time. While they didn't loot in her neighborhood I went to her house because she was afraid. I watched in disgust as her neighbors returned from their pillaging with armfuls of clothing, a big screen and random items bragging about their exploits. It was pitiful.
