have you ever been knocked out before?

By a punch, elbow, bat, or whatever?

I got elbowed in basketball right between the nose and eye once and saw stars for a second, i might of been out for a second, definitely saw some stars..

some people dont even know they were out till someone tells them lol.

So have you ever been put to sleep?

Twice, actually.

1st time was as a kid, playing 1st base & took a baseball right between the eyes.    The sun blinded me.

2nd time as a young adult, this chicks boyfriend came into my apartment at like 3am to find his chick in bed with me butt-naked. He drilled me right in the temple as I was asleep. After I came to, things didn't end well for him.

Got blind sided by some box in NYC a few years back on st pattys day , jaw was pretty sore for a few days 

Playing soccer I was waiting for the ball to come down next thing I remember was laying on the floor and everybody around helping me getting up..

Turns out a guy was running to get the ball and tried to get it with his head.. Instead he got me right in the face and broke my nose...

 

It was an accident a long time ago. I was 11 then when crossing the intersection on my bmx bike when this elderly lady plowed through into my friend and I. When I came to, I was blurringly staring up at paramedics in the middle of the street. Strangely, the first thing that came to my mind was the condition of my bike because my dad had just bought it and I feared breaking him the bad news. 

Luckily, the lady didn't bail like what you hear so much of these days. She even came by and checked up on us many months after and was very caring. Her insurance took care of everything. Fortunately my friend and I both recovered from this potentially tragic incident.

I got in a car accident about 5 years ago, basically a head on collision (unfortunately my fault). I was making a left hand turn and BAM, like a snap of the finger I was waking up probably 30 seconds later, car was all fucked up, blood rushing down my forehead, and paramedics were arriving. I say 30 seconds but it probably was even longer since the medics were arriving and its doubtful they got there in 30 seconds. h

Had no fucking clue what had happened.

I have been knocked out multiple times over the years starting on my 10th birthday... Everything from falling off of my porch backwards on my head to chunks of cement crashing through the roof of my car... I have had 6 concussions in my life.

i was about 7 or 8 being the bat boy at my step dads baseball game, i wasnt paying attention and took a foul ball right in the face.  i didnt know i got knocked out till later someone said i flipped backwards off my stool, i just remember being hit and then being on the ground.

to captain credit.... i had a friend in college who was getting head from a girl at a party and in walked her bf, my friend, still with his pants around his ankles, knocked out the bf.  i told him he shoulda splooged on the bf....

I wanna hear the crashing cement story!

I do feel like I have some brain issues, but then again, it could also be from the 10's of thousands of cans of beer that I have consumed over the last 2 decades....

In high school the guy who was the baseball catcher and hockey goalie would always talk shit about football players, saying hockey players were much tougher.  Senior year he decides hes going to play football "to tune up" for real sports.  In the first week I draw him in a tackling drill and I hit him so hard I saw stars and a coach grabbed a hold of me...great part is I hit him so hard I KO'd him, almost a double KO.  That was his last day of football.  He "couldn't afford to get a silly injury".

A few years ago a 14 pound chunk of cement/stone broke off of an Train bridge and busted through my T-top of my car as I was driving underneath and it knocked me out for a few seconds, when I woke up I had run 2 red lights and had steered into oncoming traffic... It was also pouringt down rain which was a bonus...

HERE is a vid of the news report about it. The large piece of the cement/stone was in my back seat... I actually still have the 5 pieces of it. I was pretty lucky that day... Well lucky that I didn't hit or injure anyone else...

 

2 concussions playing H.S hockey both times from hitting my head on the ice. Both times out cold. they were 2 months apart. After 2nd one i never played competitive hockey again. Damn concerned parents!

1 knock out from a bat. was catching and a kid (either scared or awkward clutz)  stepped back with his right leg instead of forwrd with his left while swinging and bat hit me on the back of my helmet and i fell like bag of rocks. Thankfully it was little league so wasnt a lot of strength behind it. Had a hard time for awhile trying to stop flinching on every swing after that.  Was never diagnosed as concused but didnt feel very good for awhile.

  I was partying in the infield during the Preakness Stakes when out of nowhere I was struck  on the bridge of my nose by a flying unopened can of beer. My sunglasses exploded and I briefly lost my scenses. The fucked up thing is that I never suffered from any allergies up until that point. Since then I'm cursed with terrible allergies.

never got close to getting knocked out by someone but I also took a fastball between the eyes when I was a kid warming up a relief pitcher and the webbing of the catchers mitt wore out n snapped. I tried to get up twice but my legs felt like fettucine.

2 standing 8 hard counts in one boxing match out of 31 bouts. Tea kettles were singin real loud, but I never dropped and went the full 10.

 

During a high school baseball game, I hit a grounder to SS.  SS bobbled it and fired as hard as he could at 1B.  1B missed the ball and as I was crossing the bag it hit me square in my face.  Broke my nose, concussion.  It was top of the first and I was supposed to pitch. 

My girlfriend found out I was cheating while I was lifeless on her couch with swineflu. She had been making me soup and taking care of me all day when the wrong person decided to text me and she started texting back with my phone. She kicked the shit out of me and I was too fucked up to put up any kind of fight. Pretty sure she knocked me out or that I blacked out. I don't remember much.
