Haven't seen a "normal" or "traditional" name in quite a while...latest babies of friends/family have been...

    Jackson
    Nora
    Liam
    Elijah
    Elliana

The ones that really bother me and I'm not sure where the hell it started is the last names as first names trend.

    Harper
    Parker
    Cooper
    Tucker
    Bentley
    Jackson

Those are last names...keep it that way

If you're last name is Altuna.............you gotta name the kid

    Charlie

I asked this guy, "Why did you name your daughter Lexus"?

He goes "Because that's what I'd be driving now, if we didn't have her"

You have to be making this up Hawk.

What a great thread....  Hawk you're killing me.. funny stuff..

Mugg,, tell me you may have just misheard the kids name under the dinner music....                    BENTLEY!!!  You gotta be shiiting me Pyle!  What's next Rolex?

about 9 years ago my step daughter wanted to name her boy after me, and I said no, give him his own ID, or name him JACK!       Not Jackson,,       Jack!  damnitt...
Ended up being  Braydon,,,    f'me...  My old friend heard that and simply said,,, "Strike One!"

Of course now I think Braydon is one of the most perfect names possible because our relationship trumps previous trivial misgivings I had about boys names...........Silll....I wonder just a little bit.

    Love the post Iceman!  Funny

Nope, they said it every chance they got, like they wanted everyone around to know.

All I could think about was the scene in "A Fish Called Wanda", where they were making fun of Kevin Kline for thinking Cleese named his daughter (Portia) after a car.

I would love to see these kids with these goofy names research the meaning of them.

Good point Hawk, but that's Reznor's middle name.

His first name is a real name because there's an actual meaning behind it.  It means, "Who is like God?".  ie Michael

His real name is Michael Trent Reznor.

    Love NIN by the way.

Jackson, Aiden, Liam, Lucas, Noah, Mason, Ethan, Caden, Logan, Jacob, Jayden, Oliver, Elijah, Alexander, Michael, Carter, James, Caleb, Benjamin, Jack.

    That's the top 20.  Yuck

    Thanks for sharing CMJohnson

Ok.  Jackson, Carter and Mason are supposed to be last names, hahaha.  What's wrong with these parents?  Do they hate their kids that much?

    Aiden (Means Like a fire),
Caden (Means Son of Cadan. -  Who the phuck is Cadan?)
Jayden (my nephew's name- Means Unclear)

I'll let Liam, Logan and Caleb slide.

The other 14 names are perfectly normal for any American or Canadian.

The other 6 names that I mentioned should not be on this list and the parent's should be embarrassed for naming their boys by these names  Goofy phucking names.

I can't believe that John, Joseph, Daniel, David, Mark, Matthew, Eric, Jeffrey, Ryan, Brian, Nicholas, Anthony, George, Francis/Frank, Thomas, Gabriel, James,Joshua, Andrew, Robert,Sean,Christopher, Vincent, Stephen, Kenneth, William, Scott, Timothy, Adam, Louis, Philip, Brandon, Samuel, Edward, Justin, Greg, Douglas all didn't break the Top 20.

Those are real/normal names that are just off the top of my head.  I'm sure I've omitted a lot more but these are the names that I grew up with.

Yeah St' Johns had a couple of really weird ones

Along with God Shamgod they had a kid named Sir'Dominick.  There was another one too but I forgot it

There are some weird names coming from the white middle class these days.  Like others have said, a lot of girl sounding boy names, names with Lex- in them, etc.

Can't approach the Trayvons though.  These black women come up with the craziest.  I used to know a girl who was the head nurse in maternity.  She would tell me some of the ridiculous names they would come up with.  One looked around the delivery room, noticed a sign on the door, and settled on naming her baby Na'smoking.  No joke

Daniel and Matthew barely missed the cut!  Henry is another good one that barely missed.  Speaking of Henry, I was watching Family Feud the other night and Steve Harvey asked the question, "Give me a boy's name that starts with the letter H?"

You think people would come up with names like Henry, Harrison, Homer, Hank, Harold or Herb.

The black contestant seriously answers, "I got this Steve.  JOSE!!!.""

His family screams out, " GOOD ANSWER!"

I couldn't stop laughing.  Even Steve Harvey gives the look like, this guy is a phucking moron, hahahaha.
