My wife is dead set on Vancouver and not sure why. Both of us have never been to Canada and would be flying out of San Francisco. Hope all you Hockey fans chime in and give me the scoop on where to go and what to do. Please remember taking wife and she is ok with going to a strip bar (because she looks better than most) but good ideas about cool things to do. Please advise and thanks guys.

They have been posted several times you perv. Just asking the best city to go to and what to do. Like I said never been there but for the record a few guys have asked questions about San Francisco and always happy to help.

You should've went there a few weeks ago. They had abnormally warm weather in Vancouver.
Canada kind of sucks in my opinion and I'm from there. It feels like you're in Hong Kong or Bangladesh most everywhere you go. Immigration is alright, but not when the identity of the host country is lost in the process.

Vancouver is beautiful and I have to agree with silk in half the town, half the parts we saw anyway, all the signs were in an Asian language. I am assuming Chinese. I guess that's a good thing cause you can see both cultures if you like but I found it surprising.

Vancouver is the most attractive and expensive city in Canada. A dozen cities clustered in a rainforest surrounded by water and mountains. Free popular attractions include Stanley Park seawall and totem poles. Also Granville Island too. Vancouver Aquarium is recommended. Good views on Skytrain expo line route in Vancouver, Burnaby, New Westminister and Surrey. At North Vancouver, best attractions are Capilano suspension bridge and Grouse mountain. I live outside Toronto and both my younger brother and younger sister went out to Vancouver for school and never came back. About 30-35% of my friends went out to B.C. for a few years And they loved it. Vancouver seems a bit more geographically diverse and Toronto is a LOT more ethnically diverse. Put it this way, I lived on a street when I was growing up called Whiteway court and we were the only white people that lived on the street. That should give an indication of the accuracy of my above statements. And there's nothing wrong with that for most. Diversity can be a good thing. It just depends on what you are looking for. I would personally go to van city.

This all depends on the length of your stay and your budget. I live in Toronto which is also a great city (Niagara Falls 75min away, Niagara on the Lake - Wine Country, Spas, Downtown Toronto - shops, etc), but for your 1st time to Canada, I would go to Vancouver.

Granville Island is pretty sweet. I used to go there and gorge myself full of berries and spring rolls.
Ever been to Lee's Donuts in Granville Island? Best donut I've ever had was there, some peanut sprinkled one. So much good produce, seafood, meats, and other stuff.
I've traveled up through Victoria. There are some fun places to camp, especially up north.
