Only ATMs I've seen with 100s are at the casino.  My bank's ATM gives out 50s if you take out more than 200 or so.

ever been to vegas ALL casino ATMs dispense c-notes.....your right though doubt that bag was meant for an outside atm.......

If perchance this is true (and I hope it is for you)  go to an OTB or a race track and launder it through the betting machines.  You can put several hundred into each betting machine, maybe bet $10 and move on to the next machine.  Wear a slight disguise just for safety. Cash your tickets at different tellers.  I will launder it for you for 10%, LOL.

I work at a bank and yes they keep way more than 50K... My bank, being a small town bank at that, keeps around 300-350K on hand at anyone time.. It all differs from bank to bank though... Also Brinks are the ones that handle the transport of money, or atleast they do at the bank I work at but they come in right at close and are never near where a drop box should be at any bank...

Yes a bank ATM has around 60K in it but it is not in hundreds at all... They are filled with 20's 10's and some have 5's...

All I can tell you is at my bank - which is a big bank - I have tried to draw out money and they didnt have enough.  And it was way less than 300K.

Maybe it was a slow day, or maybe they dropped the bags of money outside that day, but I was told to order any cash over 10k if I could.

But either way, this douchebag is lying his ass off.

as for how much money banks have on hand, it varies greatly, much of it is timing. At a credit union, forget about getting even  a $1000 or more,I've tried to cash some checks at Cr U's and I always end up getting Money orders.  Even at big banks like B of  A I have had trouble getting like $5 K and they whine about cash on hand. Banks just don't like dealing with cash like that and they will give you a hard time with ID and such too. I have been to banks where they will cash checks like about $8K no problem, so it really depends on the branch and the manager's policy.

As for the guy's story, it makes little sense and the guy  is probably just looking for attention. Although we may see an interesting news story from AZ soon, "cops bust teen that picked up bag of cash", or "teen claims reward for lost cash"...

Their inept govt. would probably just shove relief cash into their own pockets. I've been watching the coverage over the last two days and I have yet to see any sight of someone from govt., like a police guy, fireman, soldier.....

.no one except all really sad people that had their already impoverished country, this earthquake made it completely destroyed.

A whole big difference from the San Fran quake in '89 in which destroyed a lot of homes in the Marina District, but all in all, experts (not me) would term it as just fucking up their infrastructure. Haiti is simply and completely no more.

Wacthing again, still no sight of any one from the govt. Amazing.....
