1. I would put the chances of this story being true at about .5% (1 out of 200).
2. Bank branches dont keep 110K at the bank. This I know personally. When I want to get a large amount of cash (even like 25K), I have to order it ahead of time. That being said, this could have been an order, but I doubt it. Most bank branches have like 50K total in it, and they arent sending all of their cash out on a brinks truck.
3. If it was from a Brinks trucks - would the bag be unmarked?
4. Do banks even deal with Brinks or do they have their own transport?
If it is true, you are a complete and utter moron if you decide to keep it. You are already a complete and utter moron for posting about it. What do you think is going to happen when Brinks goes public that they are missing a bag of money? You dont think someone that read this thread is going to contact them and alert them to this post?
Just admit it, you were up late, you started a few posts because you were bored - and decided to get creative. Please dont challenge me to show up and show me the money - if you have the money go to your bank and turn it in - but more likely just create a new username at covers and start over.

Are you telling me that a Bank ATM has 110K in it?
I would be shocked if it had more than 20K in it.

The DUMBEST thing you could ever do is talk about it or post about it anybody with half a brain would keep quiet.
Means you are either an idiot if the story is true of just making something up for the fun/attention of it

All I can tell you is at my bank - which is a big bank - I have tried to draw out money and they didnt have enough. And it was way less than 300K.
Maybe it was a slow day, or maybe they dropped the bags of money outside that day, but I was told to order any cash over 10k if I could.
But either way, this douchebag is lying his ass off.

as for how much money banks have on hand, it varies greatly, much of it is timing. At a credit union, forget about getting even a $1000 or more,I've tried to cash some checks at Cr U's and I always end up getting Money orders. Even at big banks like B of A I have had trouble getting like $5 K and they whine about cash on hand. Banks just don't like dealing with cash like that and they will give you a hard time with ID and such too. I have been to banks where they will cash checks like about $8K no problem, so it really depends on the branch and the manager's policy.
As for the guy's story, it makes little sense and the guy is probably just looking for attention. Although we may see an interesting news story from AZ soon, "cops bust teen that picked up bag of cash", or "teen claims reward for lost cash"...
