I like calling people who are childish kid or son, you can really break it down call em a toddler, ask em how pre-school was, even further they can become a little newborn baby who can't even open his eyes.  Hell you could even call them a fetus or a zygote if you reall wanna get scientific.

Like "hey man, you in line?"

To kids I use the word buddy.

"That's ok buddy, you'll get a hit next time."

To feed someones ego call them sir--they will show you more respect,than you actually have for them.And for someone who is clearly your lesser,call them private ( just make sure you can kick their ass if need be o.k.).Call all your friends by their first name and always speak well of all the ladies --even when they are not around!!

To each their own.  Bro isn't a big deal to me, and neither is bud or buddy.  I'd rather not get called "kid" but it doesn't infuriate me.  In most scenarios I've been called worse by better anyway
