I'm a huge fan of the whole play fair. Always raised that way and it is something instilled in me that will not change. But the NFL dude? Come on, this shit is more of a show than anything. I love the NFL, but its still a show. What Desean did didnt hurt any single person. He burnt the defenders, and after he burnt them, he made them feel dumb about it

If you are playing in a sport - are you thinking about being entertaining? Maybe some folks do play with that purpose and intent - it just seems odd to me.
I play to win - that's the whole reason to compete, imo.

When I'm playing I do it to have fun. There was always too much pressure placed on sports growing up so I just tried to have fun and of course win. As per being entertaining I don't think my athletic ability ever induced that response in others but professional athletes are on TV to entertain. DJ doesn't have to try to be entertaining, he is with his play and likes to have fun when he scores. As a fan I celebrate a TD so why won't the league let players do the same? I know some say it unsportsmanlike but this sport is entertainment not something that should be policed where celebrations impact the outcomes of games. JMHO
