JEOPARDY  two years ago my roommate and I were betting on CBB games during march madness and I was up $50 on him. We decided to go double or nothing on Jeopardy for whatever reason. Me being a lot smarter than him took the broad on the far left knowing that she was the winner from yesterday and he took some guy that looked like Chris Farley. My lady ended up winning with about 25k and his guy finished last with like $500.
 
When I was in university I lived in a house with 6 other guys and 5 of us were big gamblers. At any time you could be walking in on games of Mariokart or Madden wort at least $50. I rinsed one of my roommates in NBA '04 for I'd estimate about a G over the year.

the four corners is a basketball play that Dean Smith instituted.  basically you have your players in 4 corners, with one guy at the top.  you pass it around and don't let the other team get near you and you kill off the game.  this is the reason that shot clocks were put into the game of basketball.  but in relation to my story from page 1 of this thread, 10 year olds don't have shot clocks.

They still don't have shot clocks in High School ball either, which doesn't make sense. Teams get up 10 points and just stall. Games are played in the 30's sometimes. Actually now that I think about it, did they discontinue the shot clock in the Big Ten too?

I recently placed a prop bet on which song Bruce Springsteen would sing first at half time of this year's Super Bowl.  I picked "born to run" and lost my ass.  I was then able to turn the channel and not watch the rest of the lame Super Bowl show so in a way I was winner.

Setting a CD player to random and betting odd or even with 2 people...
 
With more then 2 people we would just have everyone pick a number...  This way there is a more of a "taking the pot" mentality like Acey-deucey...
 
Probably one of the most fun degenerate games we made up...
 
6 darts to hit one bulls-eye...  We found this to be the golden standard and the rules of the game were that the person offering the bet gives the other guy the choice of who will throw the darts...
 
So you could accept the bet and try to hit a bulls-eye in 6 darts, or you could flip the tables and make the other guy do it...
 
The reason why 6 darts chance to hit one bulls-eye was the golden standard was that we could then make odds on the pay outs...
 
6 darts = 1 to 1
4 darts =  3 to 2
3 darts = 2 to 1
2 darts = 3 to 1
1 dart  =  6 to 1
 
We still play this simple darts gambling game when we get together because it is fast and works so well...

strangest bet I made was the day I lost my virginity, freshman year of college and I was still 17,,,,didnt want the other guys in the contest we were having knowing I was a virgin so I entered anyway
 
contest was $20 per guy and whoever brought home the biggest fattest girl wins..catch was someone else in the contest had to witness you having some sort of sex with the girl, oral sex counted
 
I was a virgin and had no game so any girl I talked to that night, and I did talk with one or two,  in the campus pub, I of course failed, I proceeded to get very drunk
 
end of the night and they gave last call, mad rush as always to the bar for one last beer and the bar was at least 10 or 12 deep....luckily for me I am 6' 4" and the bartenders were teammates of mine from the soccer team,,,,over the top of the crowd I signalled for two beers and in the crush of people, I heard a voice behind me ask me to please get her one.....so I did
 
I turned around to see the biggest girl that must have tipped the scales at a minimum of 300,,,,,she then informed me she gave the best head on campus if I was interested,,,,,my only thought, jackpot,,,,,took her home and climbed on board the good ship heffer, as every guy, not just one, but every guy, all 7 and some girls from the dorm floor also piled in my room and watched me riding the wave
 
not sex, but rolling on top of the great white beast and looking for a way in,,,,she turned on her side and one of her breasts was hanging off the bed touching the floor, very disturbing picture as was then posted in the floor conference room the next day
 
but, I was a winner,,,,,er maybe not, but you know what I mean $160 in my pocket
