Please take what I'm going to say with a grain of salt...not facts, but things I've heard and wanna share. These are a few things we've heard up here in Canada.
- There were rumours that the owner of the twin towers was losing millions every year and to demolish them woulda cost him 10's of millions.
- surviving firefighters have claimed to hear explosions in the twin towers while they were inside fighting the fires.
- Osama worked for the CIA decades ago and was funded hundreds of millions of dollars by the US to remove Russia from Afganistan.
- Iraq was funded decades ago by the US to defeat the Iyatola Komani (spelling way off), leader of Iran. After the war, Iraq requested more aid and the US said no, which led to Iraq going into Kuwait (monetary).
- During 9/11, it was aired when the whole nation was on flight lock down, the US released a couple of flights out of the country, one having Bin Ladin's relatives (sister, etc) to leave the country. fyi - Bin Ladin comes from a very wealthy family who own a massive construction company in the Middle East and has I believe 25 bro/sis.
- One statement they did mention, is that the US strongly believes "the greatest good for the greatest number of people." Meaning sometimes things happen but they happen to benefit the greatest number of people.
Again, I'm not claiming these are facts, just things I've heard re: 9/11. The lives lost and suffering endured, no nation should go through. Taking from a very good movie, "A Few Good Men" when cruise is questioning Nickleson...he says a line I'll never forget..."You can't handle the truth..." and this is something I believe 100%. We live in a world were we want everything, but close our eyes in the way our country obtains them bc if we knew we'd be horrified.
Lastly...a buddy of mine just came back from Afganistan serving 9months. A great guy, jokes, loud and now he's quiet, introverted, stares off into la-la land way too often.
...k, I'll stop the blabbing...
