Van I never asked you when you were on the hot seat. What do you think about craps. I rarely go to the casinos but when I do I just play the don't pass line. Thats betting with the house and no vig correct.

Best sport to bet, by far, is baseball.  I have seen more bookies go broke over the years in baseball season than any other sport.  That's proof enough for me.

Surprising that no one really knows this answer except Golden Goose.  The answer is baseball because of 2 things -

1- Lines are off because of the multitude of games
2- You can arbitrage a lot based off multiple lines
3- Betting Dogs and finding trends.  (every team in mlb goes on a 9+ winning or losing streak)

Many different sports for the same question suggest that profitability depends on the individual.  One person's food may be another person's poison.  But what single sport for everybody?  Easiest sport would be one where anyone can still be profitable despite blindly betting without any knowledge.

If you think you can beat NFL or NCAAB or NCAAF - you are fucking crazy,  the oddsmakers are right on the money 90 percent of the time,  and if they are wrong they adjust the lines quickly where sharp bettors by the other sides.

In the case of the 10 percent where they are wrong they have enough action on both sides and typically are only wrong by 2 points.

baseball kinda  can be volatile

NBA NFL forget about it

but I would think college basketball and football would be easy if you knew your teams pretty well especially the more obscure ones and could pick off soft lines/totals easily

also futures such as season win totals,to win conference, make playoffs or not etc  are a pretty good way to profit as luck will eventually even it self out over a season meaning you could bet a team that looks like a lock in a particluar game but have bad ref calls,not turning up on the day,unlucky blocked shots,balls etc and on a flip win a game when they should have clearly lost

Also you will never be able to beat any sport with a 10 pecent vig,  like vanzack said,  if you can get away and find a place where lines are a few cents, you have the best shot...regardless of the sport hoping for line moves

Sport,bet and easiest should never be used in the same sentence/question.

Baseball is the easiest because of so many games but the oddsmakers are right on the money 90% of the time in NCAAB and NCAAF ........... gotcha.

Can you make a living just wagering on sports...say 50-100K a year. Say you bet only on baseball with very little vig.
