I should clarify that I wasn't robbed per se, just had a bunch of stuff taken. What burns me most, besided the stuff being gone, is that my brother is too fucking stupid or lazy to change the lock when a tenant moves out. This guy I reference in my original post started to be short on rent and my brother let him slide because he was going through a divorce, job change, etc. (They used to be friends, my brother was in the guys wedding) I figure there is nothing wrong with cutting a friend a little slack and it wasn't any of my business. How my brother runs his house/tenants doesn't concern me. Anyways, the guy just stops paying rent altogether and avoiding phone calls, notes left, etc. Well the guy shows up one day and telly my brother that his dad died recently, he has been dealing with all of that and that his dad left his a small sum of cash and his Tahoe.....that he will use the money to pay him the back rent. My brother buys it and for 2 months lets the guy slide until he gets the money from the estate attorney. He keeps telling him an exact date that he is to meet with the lawyer then the date gets pushed back a few times because of different reasons. On the final set date, the guy is a no show and won't return phone calls. Just vanishes, leaves all of his stuff....we don't hear from him until.......
I hear a knock at the side door. I go out to see who it is and guess who it is??????? This motherfucker's dad. Tells me who he is (I had never met the guy) and that he is worried about his son. My jaw hit the ground, I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I tell him what his son did and that he had better be worried about his son because if I ever run into him, "louisville slugger" will be tattooed all over his body.
Wait, it gets better..............
My brother doesn't hear from him for a few months until one day this past summer, he and his girlfriend are sitting in the living room and he shows up on the front porch. Now my brother tells me to fuck the guy up if I ever see him and that he was going to do the same. But guess what my brother does.........lets him into our basement to get some of the things he left!!!!! I couldn't believe it. I had my eye on a set of Ping irons the guy left behind but he took them (I wasn't home at the time) Unfuckingbelievable.
I told my brother to sell the guys stuff and recoup some of his losses but he said that he wasn't legally allowed to do that. So he stored the guys shit in his basement and some of his stuff is STILL down there.
Oh, and my brother never changed the lock which leads me to believe that this guy is the one that stole my shit.
ironically we had about $2000 worth of stuff stolen from us and about $1700 of it was MY shit.
How fucked up is that?!?!??

9mm by a junky 2 inches from my head for cash in a very dark place. It's an exclusive club that nobody will ever understand the helplessness until it happens to you.
Had nightmares for 15 years 4 times a week over it because I was defensless and unarmed. No idea if that round was going between my eyes.
Took me 15 years to finally understand that arming myself at home would relieve that sense of helplessnes. Amazingly the nightmares have never returned.
Obama will never take that right to own away from me. The more firepower I can get hold of the easier I sleep. Sorry ya had that happen.

Whether he or she intends to shoot or not.......I will not hesitate to shoot if someone were to break into my home. It may sound weird, but it does make me feel safer, and let me also clarify, there are no young children in my home right now.

I was lucky enuff to shut the trunk, but as the guy pistol whipped the shit out me, my knees buckled and i emptied my pockets one at a time. I wasn't arguing with the punk, just trying to get the money out of my pockets into his hand. I figured i got took for just over 1500, but the package in the trunk, stayed in the trunk. If the fucker wasn't beating me with a gun, trust me, i would of tore is head off.
Personally I put one in the shoulder or leg but that's just me.
