Smoking weed doesn't "catch up" with you. People have been smoking it for thousands of years, and I have never heard a doctor say that continued use will lead to anxiety attacks. The fact is, continued use DOES NOT lead to anxiety attacks.
There are many reasons he could have had the anxiety attack, but unless the marijuana was tampered with, I'm sure it did not cause it.
Stress, poor diet, lack of exercise, excessive drinking... these are all terrible for your body. I wouldn't doubt it if someone told me that it enhances the effects of an anxiety attack though. But to CAUSE the anxiety... I just don't see it. Many thousands use marijuana to reduce anxiety so I don't even believe it would necessarily "enhance" it.
There's another issue here and I hope you solve it. See a doctor.

Steelcash your playing semantics games with "cause vs enhance" bottom line smoking weed all the time does catch up to you. If nothing else it leads to the poor diet and lack of excercise you're refering to.

Ironlionzion... cool name. Love it.
Some strains can actually cause anxiety for some, but to say that the prolonged use of cannabis causes anxiety I believe is incorrect.

Also I know it's incorrect to say that cannabis leads to poor diet and lack of exercise. That's as bad as saying it's a gateway drug. I smoke, eat well, and get plenty of exercise. Obviously if you smoke all day and do nothing this is a problem (lazy people do this). Although the same can be said for drinking. Or watching too much TV. Or anything. But smoking weed does not lead to that and it's unfair to say that. I know many people that smoke and they are healthy because they eat right and exercise.
Of course "smoking weed all the time catches up to you". This just goes back to the last paragraph. If you do ANYTHING all the time it catches up to you. But science has proven that even daily use does not hurt you. And I've done a lot of research on this trust me. Dr. Donald Tashkin of UCLA actually found out, through extensive research, that cannabis users actually are LESS APT TO GET CANCER compared to the general population. This does make sense considering that it has anti-cancer and anti-tumoral properties.
The bottom line is that you can smoke cannabis as much as you want and it wont hurt you. And you can still get your exercise in every day and eat healthy. If you don't do this it's your own damn fault. You're lazy. People want to blame the weed for their own shortcomings instead of taking responsibility for their actions (or lack there of). You get up, go to work, go to the gym, and then relax later with a bowl. It's really not that difficult. The thing is, it's EASY to say "Well... the weed made me lazy". And of course people just accept that as the truth because, why not, they've been told that by everyone else that doesn't know what they're talking about.
I gotta crash bro. Good discussion. Peace. ![]()
