more than we probably think Packers...I have 5 myself, but they are from a nearby casino that doesn't have the Belmont logo AND the name American Pharoah printed out...so I am never gonna get the kind of money like that guy on ebay is. I swear he's got 150+ tickets, and will sell each and every one THIS WEEKEND.
I am more appreciative of the memory, than I would be of the sale of my tickets; though that kind of immediate profit would be nice!
Worth Immense more NOW, than waiting for it to happen again...if it happens next year, I doubt you get $5 for them. If you're business-minded, it's striking while the iron is red hot

searchwarrant i'm not disagreeing with you. I wouldn'tve bet the race. Just rooted for Pharaoh. Ticket prices on the winning ticket are anywhere from $2-$100 dpending on bids
ESPN has said Pharaoh is worth $30 Million. I hope the horse has a great life. And Pharaoh will now likely retire{As the horse shouls}

Probably a stupid question but does a trip crown winner really get big money on stud fees? Somebody in the horse forum said all depends on the blood line etc....
I think they paid only 300k for this horse site unseen because of a bump on his leg. Educate us.

Not often this happens to me but I got goose bumps. The race was over after a 1:14 in six furlongs. Thats crawling so he had a full tank in the stretch.
Hey Cat, hell yes the money is in the breeding. A top Sire like this horse will probably get at least 200k per hump. And he can hump an average 100 times a year. Ca ching.

This was years ago but a yearling sold for 16 million. The horse name was The Green Monkey. Horse only three times and could not break maiden. Horse was a dud and was retired but I never heard of any injury's. Today you can have him do your goat for 5k.
This game is for the rich unless you get a freak like California Chrome last year.

Forbes already has an article up about this. His Dad was the runner up in the Kentucky Derby in 2009, so he has the potential to get $100,000.00 per stud due to his solid bloodlines, but there is a possible snafu with this because one of his nuts is not descended. True story.
